"Sacking" of Chicago
- Riding in trucks and U-Hauls, vandals came to downtown Chicago on Sunday. They jammed streets around the Magnificent Mile, home of the city’s most important shopping district. They came prepared with tools like crowbars to pry open gates and take all the merchandise that they could pack. It was a strike directed at the heart of the city.
While the vandals were organized, the police were not. Earlier in the day, a policeman had returned fire and wounded a suspect. False rumors spread that the suspect was an unarmed juvenile. Crowds gathered; social media lit up with menace. But the police did not deploy in force until looters flooded into places with the most valuable goods.
The sacking of Chicago’s North Side was more than a tactical failure. For months, key officials—the state’s attorney responsible for prosecution, the mayor, and the governor—have failed to condemn criminals sufficiently or act with necessary force against such violence. They have contributed to a culture of impunity that tolerates mobs and hoodlums.
The writer encapsulates everything we've been saying for over a year now - Crimesha, Groot and Fat-ass have accomplished the figurative and literal destruction of a major American city in under a year thanks to insane policies and by standing the Rule of Law on it's head.

My wife is a CPS teacher, and unfortunately a member of CTU. A number of teachers have complained that if they are to do virtual learning for the first quarter (probably all year), they need to be compensated for having to have Internet access at home and a computer. Now CPS is going to pay for all teachers internet bills/reimburse for home internet throughout the virtual learning. Also CPS is giving teachers a stipend to purchase new computers to handle the e learning.
All of these stores might as well pack up and leave. This carnage is not going to stop. Shoppers won’t come downtown and tourist are going somewhere else away from Democrat run cities.
I felt from the beginning that "social media" would be the end of this world as we knew it and I am rapidly being proven right. It is fairly obvious that this socialist/communist revolution is largely being driven by social media and the misinformation platform it provides. Can we not infiltrate these sites and counter that information with our own fact-driven information? Red squad tactics? Damn right. This is war. Rather than confiscate their bicycles, how about getting rid of the 1000 dollar Iphones every "disadvantaged" kid seems to have these days.
The looters brought U-Haul trucks. What time did the shooting happen on that day? If the shooting happened in the afternoon, word needed to get out and spread. What time do U-Haul rental companies close on that day of the week? Would there have been time for word to get out about the alleged shooting of an unarmed teen, for the "community" to get fired up, to plan a "protest" downtown, and to rent U-Hauls for a protest before U-Haul closed for the day? Why rent U-Hauls if it was just going to be a protest?
Is it possible that it was a planned looting and that the shooting happened to occur prior on that day? I would love to see their social media posts to see the timeline of the looting planning.

Three years ago, I begged my niece to move out of Chicago. I have plenty of room at my place, I live in one of the fastest-growing towns in the nation, a top 10 on every list. She could stay as long as she liked. She could easily have a job in her field within a week. Real Estate in the area is getting more valuable by the minute. She declined.
Instead, she bought a $300,000 condo downtown and is now completely and utterly financially fucked in her 20s. Oh well, she will join the ranks of people I know that say, "I should have left when you did". One more angry Chicagoan.
I have to think that the majority of the people in Chicago enjoy getting fucked just so that they can bitch about it when they drink. Misery loves company. There is no other way to explain it.

Do not be surprised that if Trump wins a second term he will direct the DOJ to file a lawsuit against Chicago's Mayor, Alderman, District Attorney, Police Department, and Sheriff for violation of Civil Rights (due to the inability to control violence and crime, not protecting citizens, letting violent criminals go on own recognizance, etc) and ask for a Federal Master to be appointed to oversee everything going on in Chicago/Cook county.
The same thing happened to the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) in the 1980's after the state lost in Grubbs v. Bradley which dealt with the inability of the TDOC to handle violence in prisons and other civil rights violations. The TDOC was placed under a Federal Master from 1982 - 1996 with reports being sent back to the court yearly. Everything TDOC did had to go through the Federal Master for approval and it didn't matter a damn about union rules/contracts or how 'we have always done things.' It forced change and a lot of people, a lot of SENIOR people, were straight up fired for cause.
It may seem like a draconian step but it may be what Chicago/Cook County needs since there are no adults left in city leadership positions.
As far as Groot speaking at convention it is a race to bottom with them. So far she is leading the pack, what she has done in one short year amazies her fellow Democrats. They all want to hear her secrets. Surprised she want picked to backup Slow Joe. Her results speak for themselves, most destruction in shortest time.
Was in town about three months ago. Wife had tests at Northwestern and it was beautiful day 70 degrees on a Friday afternoon. Strolled over to Watertower Place and I was one of about 15 shoppers. Told my wife then May Mile was dead. High rents and no shoppers at all the perfect storm. Fast forward to today all boarded up shops no people and fear for safety now Navy Pier closing. Disinvestment, other than government grants at taxpayers' expense, will rapidly increase here. Watch the corporations and companies move their employees out of downtown, watch the retailers and restaurants fail to rebuild and reopen, watch the residential real estate market get battered. Those who exist on government salaries DON'T CARE, because their incomes and pensions are still assured continuation, even while private-sector businesses and nongovernmental employees are significantly damaged by declining economic conditions and general lawlessness here.
Very basic choices being made by those put in positions to create Chicago’s future. First,Chicago will not have a “future” other than decay from within. Once the balance swings to the criminals favor w/o law enforcement and punishment to keep the ratio of good/bad in check,there is little to stop a freefall to ashes. A successful society of peace is only attained by restraining the human element to put their own interests ahead of all others. Crime has been around since the first humans lived in groups. The very idea of “allowing” crimes to happen with NO INTENTIONS of prosecuting or punishing deserves a very deep look at the reasoning. The only reason is to join in the fruits of lawlessness. I contend that the Mayor and her cronies are partners in a very dark scheme to make Chicago a crime capital that will make Mexican cartels look like cub scouts. Allowing crime IS A CRIME. Get those Dems out of office NOW!
