Police Shoot Assailant - Attacked After

So someone takes shots at the police and gets shot:

• A man was shot during an exchange of gunfire with Chicago police Sunday in Englewood on the South Side, authorities said.
  
  Officers responding to calls of a person with a gun first stopped the man about 2:30 p.m. in an alley near the 5700 block of South Racine Avenue, according to Deputy Chief Yolanda Talley. The man allegedly fled and as he did so, turned around and fired a shot at the officers.
  
  Officers returned fire and struck the shooter, who was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and is in police custody, Talley said.

And then, some of those to whom the Law is merely something to ignore, decided to spontaneously protest a 100% justified police shooting:

• About an hour after the shooting, a standoff with officers near the scene of the shooting briefly turned violent. One officer was maced and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while another suffered a shoulder injury and was treated on the scene

Any tweet from the worthless Groot? How about Crimesha? A word or two of support that it isn't okay to shoot at the police, nor attack them for defending themselves? Anything? The media doesn't quote an single exempt as of this writing. That might change overnight, but we aren't optimistic.

This is something like the third or fourth shooting incident in the past tens days or less, all with armed black offenders.

But the police are the problem.

UPDATE: Deputy Chief Yolanda Talley (multiple "merit" pick) ordered an offender who maced five police officers released. ORDERED her released with a "stern warning."
