Fatass in Contempt?
- CLAY COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- Governor JB Pritzker has been ordered to appear in court over a legal challenge involving his statewide action during the coronavirus pandemic. The governor is accused of violating a ruling that states he does not have the authority to extend an emergency order beyond 30 days.
Weeks ago, a judge in downstate Clay County sided with Republican State Representative Darren Bailey regarding the legal challenge. Pritzker is facing a warrant for his arrest unless he shows up in court next week to explain why he should not be found in contempt.
The governor's office released a statement in response to the notice, calling it a "political sideshow."
Of course it's a political sideshow. The entire "pandemic" is being used as a political sideshow. Putzker has been acting outside the scope of his authority for months now and a court finally did the legislature's job by holding the governor accountable.

If the pandemic is not a hoax, why does the mayor seem more concerned about white lives than black lives with her selective enforcement and fencing.
If people are not taking it serious enough - thank the lying MSM and politicians that no one can trust any more. I looked for a simple stat of American deaths from all causes through July 2019 v 2020, it must be top secret because it seems to be nowhere.
Obviously this is such a crisis that they will resolve it sometime in September or October.

Gov. Pritzker's arguments continue to be related to "medicine" and "science" and "flattening the curve" and all the other platitudes that have been made up in the last few months.
The funny thing is that this lawsuit do not argue or call in question anything related to Covid-19. It has nothing to do with "medicine" or "science" or anything. He argues that the governor (and other non-elected persons and groups) do not have the LEGAL AUTHORITY to make all the rules they are making up. And, it so happens, that the Illinois Constitution and lawfully passed statues agree with him, and not the governor.
