Two high-ranking former cops have taken a well-worn retirement path from the Chicago Police Department to private industry — landing at the politically connected Monterrey Security.
Anthony Riccio and Fred Waller have become executives at the Chicago-based firm, according to a company announcement Tuesday. Riccio was the No. 2 official in the police department, overseeing daily operations. Waller’s job included supervising the city’s 22 police districts.
Riccio and Waller will join other former ranking Chicago cops already at Monterrey including Hiram Grau, once the No. 2 official in the police department and director of the Illinois State Police, who is a vice president of Monterrey, and former Cmdr. Bob Klich, the company’s director of special operations.

Why do you think he's always getting contracts even though his company has been under investigation plenty of times for shady ethics. Rosemont being one of the many no bid contracts Monterrey has gotten due to some under the table negotiations.

Just look at Gaytan’s brief career on the CPD. His “actions” torpedoed the career of an innocent recruit.
Say what you want but, Bob Klich is a good guy and so is Waller.
Juan Gayton is a POS got fired from this job for robbing Latin kings. Got his job back because of daddy clout and was the sole reason a PPO working with this POS while he was robbing Latin kings was fired. Fuck Monterrey and all the criminals they hire.
Keep in mind they are stealing about 140,000 a year from the pension. Got an exempt rank cause they are connected not qualified!

Look at Riccio s former driver JA. This chump was his secretary and driver and is a detective. Riccio retired and they put JA in Intelligence with a take home car. This guy has never done street work in his life. Earned not given my ass!
Just like the memorial foundation. Former supe gets big bucks, a take home car, travel and lodging expense......and here is where it gets real expensive.......food per diem and special meal vouchers.
How about that former commander, salami being let go from under a raging thunderstorm (being allowed to resign with full benefits) for directing and co creating on koschman homicide....well protecting former mayors kid and landing the nephew in a cushy plea deal while getting caught on emails setting up the underlings for the serious time, must be what it takes to land such a primo $$ job at the memorial foundation.
Hell one detective (detective rice-a-roni.....(you know the rest) / aka Mr. didn't I lock you up before) fell on the sword, forced to resign in disgrace (for following orders, he had no official say) he did get many four day extended weekends and never did a detail....just no retirement star.
Another took a year off suspension (not consecutively of course...his time was spread out for the sake of his family to keep insurance (connected....not like that would happen for you our me)). Don't worry he will still make merit Sgt. He said so.
Their direct supervisor Sironi who, was supposed to be suspended for a year, for his supervisory participation as go between and co creator (also clouted up, doesn't serve a single day) and remains in the D-unit leading more "once upon a time in the ghetto" stories.
Deputy Drano went back to the dry cleaners and coffee shop. But Salami, oh boy this guy gets the cheese, a huge paying job at the memorial foundation. The CPD couldn't trust his ethics or his abilities to lead investigations due to his lack of judgement and being caught in a major cover ups ( proven in department emails back and forth) but the memorial foundation is a perfect fit?.
Maybe because he was the valet at fat Phil's house party's or because he sold his mother's house to another POS former deputy, cheap. Could it be that Fed investigation over the missing scope from a government owned rifle?
So many instances of why someone shouldn't get a high paid job..... at a charity!

Fun fact of the day. juan gaytan, who has been employed as a bridgeview police officer for years, testified in his deposition for the Minnesota security license revocation case that he personally opened and closed cases at bridgeview pd, an attempt to bolster his law enforcement credibility with state officials. When the law firm who headed the investigation called bridgeview and submitted a FOIA to confirm, bridgeview was forced to reveal gaytan’s status a ghost payroller. Ever since that faux pas, gaytan has been forced to show up once a month by bridgeview mayor, state senator and prolific swamp creature steve landek. bridgeview pd chief, retired cpd LT ricky mancha recently brought over his merit pick buddies, both retired cpd LTs, dave case and gregory klichowski, and hired them as commanders, bypassing a highly qualified sgt who has been with bridgeview for almost 25 yrs. Klichowski, who spent his cpd days in IAD, has not lost his old ways, in fact suspending Bridgeview patrolman at an alarming clip. Internal investigations in 2019 and previous years rarely topped 3 annually while 2020 has already seen 24 and counting, to include a 19 year veteran currently facing termination for simply questioning the recent commander merit hires, clearly not in the good old boys club like gaytan!

some pretty qualified people present and former CPD. But, those with a lot of connections who march up the ranks, with merit, get to attend a lot of great training classes that others do not get. That looks great on a resume. But, few former exempts of CPD ever make it in private industry, for long. The security field is an exception

The security field and law enforcement are two entirely different fields. But, a former police office does bring a certain sense of what works and what does not and the 6th sense looking for bad guys. Security is a knowledge of electronics, cameras, recording, smart cards, planning, mitigation of threats and the law as how it relates to private individuals working security. I had to take many study courses and seminars and then get certifications in order to make my way in private industry after my retirement from CPD. I can tell you that there are a lot of security executives who have never been the police who resent former cops and go out of their way to make it hard for you. There is a great deal of customer service attitude needed to be successful. That is the one short coming of former cops, they do not have the training in customer service. That is why former CPD exempts ( or any former high ranking officers), gravite to security or campus law enfocement. it is not as much a challenge for them as private industry is. I say good luck to them. Monteray is a connected company and they will be covered.
Forget all these hooked up clowns and remember to vote for FOP backed Brad Stephens in the 20th District over political hack Michelle Darbro. I understand from firefighters she’s completely useless.

Sep. 2002. Juan Gaytan, an eight-year police veteran and co-owner of Monterrey Security Consultants, submitted his resignation in mid-August and it took effect last weekend, the Chicago Police Board said.
Gaytan was scheduled to appear for a Police Board hearing Wednesday to answer charges that he violated Police Department rules by threatening to shoot a Southwest Side man during a 1994 arrest, then smearing fake blood on his face to make it appear he had been attacked.

I'm not woke, I do not care for what the NFL preaches and hates. As a veteran, I found football as my outlet and peace when I deployed in Iraq. So I'd careless because Hoodtrash Kaep is not the voice for veterans like me who saw my battles go off themselves after the war. So I'm angry at this country believing a stupid moron who never served is telling us how to believe in this country. Back then football was a real sport to all and honored by Americans all over, so what im angry is the stupid media, the NFL executives and stupid "woke" players pushing it down ALL through the NFL as facts, when infact it's propaganda by the left. There are plenty of players, coaches and owners who love the police and military, pushing away that crap agenda away(speaking, supporting or even honoring police). Their anti-police messages do not phase me. They also do not give me anymore reason to buy stuff or support the Bears organization(because I do not care to buy stuff). I merely watch the game and I respect the former players/and some of the current who still respect the police and veterans. Remember the NFL agreed with the US gov. to fund patriotic games, but no player says anything bad about the US military, so find the hypocrisy in that. I also laugh at Kaep failing in everything to do with the NFL, he is extinct and glad no one picked him up for his non-sense and bs playing. I’m getting out next year, and when the house is sold I’m leaving The People’s Republic of Illinois. I already have my story down if asked what I did for a living back in Illinois, I am going to tell them I worked in a zoo. That wouldn’t be a lie.

He is the 3'5" exempt in the group photo taken outside of hq for the racial profiling campaign or for attracting applicants. Cannot remember which one. At 3'5" his nose was the perfect height for Cline's anal orifice.

That is not generational wealth. To the generational wealth group that is chump change. Also very few get a 150K Pension and a 150K jobs. Today with all the OT and benefits two married sgts or lts make that kind of money. And finally, it might be nice to retire and enjoy life after this job
