As your post states “The clearance rate is less than 25%. The prosecution rate - less than that”. I’ve always had a problem with clearance rate vs. prosecution rate. The clearance rate is what it is because of the failures of the SAO. Lots of these cases have no more investigative leads but these cases do have enough evidence to support a criminal charge. The failure to prosecute results in the clearance rate being so low. It’s as if this stat exists to shift blame away from the SAO and puts its squarely on the PD.
And Fox 32 actually broke down the Foxx vote when she won. She took 61 percent of Chicago's vote. O'Brien won the suburbs, but couldn't overcome the city. Disgusting. Calling for a recount in Wisconsin. Vote tabulation stopped and reconvened at 4am and low and behold 130,000 votes turn up in Milwaukee and 109,000 go for Biden and Biden claims he won Wisconsin. Experts have never seen this large of a sample so 96% for a candidate.
They stop the vote counting, recalculate the margin of error, start counting again and make the announcement at 4AM that Biden has won. This is why we had the Pandemic to get universal mail in ballots and ballot harvesting.
This is awful and terrible for our democracy. Stealing our votes and now we will have to deal with MSM saying they won Wisconsin. The same tactics will be done in the remaining states and Biden will claim victory.

They had us use Sharpie markers at 45th 28 Precinct polling place. I voted for O’Brien but noticed the ink bleeding through the ballot. Used Sharpie pens before when voting but never markers.
So we gave $58K of our hard earned union dues to a guy who really did not campaign very much and then we still cant get out and support him with our large voting block. We really showed the politicians that the FOP and coppers are irrelevant when it comes to being a force to be reckoned with.

Near North resident here; I've posted before. I didn't vote for LL, Preckwinckle, or Pritzker, so stop with the nasty "you downtown ... get what you deserve." This is disinformation. I couldn't wait to vote for O'Brien yesterday. I think I had plenty of company and suspect manufactured ballots as to why O'Brien lost. I did not vote for Biden-Harris. I am very disappointed and unhappy about O'Brien's loss.
Since someone asked above, I voted in Near North in person at my normal polling place; paper ballot at my request. The voting process was kind of stage-managed, I guess due to the virus, but I didn't like being ushered from place to place; I know how to vote on my own. Voters were given black Sharpie markers. I fed both ballot pieces through the scanner myself and was told that everything registered correctly.
I too am eager to see a city map breaking down the votes by neighborhood. WBEZ usually has one a few days later.

I brought in my mail in ballot to my polling place and turned it in. Judge said I had to take a provisional ballot. I told her she was wrong. She got out her manual and looked it up and gave me a regular ballot. I told her I brought my own pen because of covid. She said I had to take a felt tip pen (which bled thru the ballot)and wiped it off with a Clorox wipe. Anyone know of the website where I can check if my ballot was counted or canceled like what is happening in Arizona?

This was the first time in my life where I was excited to vote and I actually believed that my vote counted when in reality in didn't and it never will. For the first time in history, you had an electorate that was engaged and excited in the process. Years and years low voter turnout had finally, thanks to Trump, the highest record turnout in history.
Now you have half the country realizing that voting doesn't matter because this election, the one they were engaged in and excited about, was taken away like a thief in the night (actually 4am to be precise). This is a gut punch and it hurts and we will move on with our lives like before. I hoped it would be a landslide with all the folks realizing the candidates were crap and how far left they had gone, and even being okay with the violence and the looting. I feel cheated with my vote. I was given a thick black sharpie and I could tell that when I flipped it over it bled on to the other side but the poll worker said it would reject it if it read two for the President because it aligned under biden. If it would have been a fine tip one that would be ok but I was only offered one choice.
Terrible what the DNC did to their voters in this country. Something so simple as a sharpie made the difference on thousands of votes in Illinois, primarily in conservative areas. At least there are a few politicians in Arizona who saw this cheating and filed a lawsuit to have those votes recounted but not here in Illinois. I worked as an EJ Tuesday, and get this: votes cast in my precinct exceeded the number of voters on the poll sheet. How about that? 3/4 were early voters & VBM's.

How many paper ballots were spoiled because election officials supplied Sharpie marker pens to the precinct polling places? The marker ink bled through many paper ballots and possibly negated O'Brien votes.
