- Cook County State's Attorney
No endorsement.
While I work with and the respect the prosecutors in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, I cannot endorse the direction of the office under the incumbent. The Office’s failure to address all but the most violent gun cases by juveniles has, in my judgment, led to increased juvenile crime and danger to those young people. I also disagree with the policy decision to not prosecute misdemeanors related to theft.
Something is a foot...and not a lightfoot either.

Elected officials not beholden to Preckwinkle are sitting out the CCSA race.
It's a start.
The general public NEEDS to know exactly who the peoplw are that let criminals out over and over again. It can be as simple as a hand out with the statistics of repeat offenders and their laundry lists if heinous crimes. Something that can be easily copied and circulated. Not by the net, it's completely censored and compromised. A simple "This is why your crime rate is out if control" one-pager.
They also NEED to know precisely which media bums hide the criminal behaviour of those who are entrusted to prosecute the urban terrorists. Because that's precisely what they are.
Finally, the general public NEEDS to know which "educational institutions" have been promoting and indoctrinating students for decades in the nurturing of insurgent radicals whose primary mission is to destroy this country.

Smith was a former prosecutor herself... For her to grade Foxx on the job performance is not hard. In Chicago, to not endorse one is the same as nodding to support the other. Nice move, given the givens.

Lived in Englewood through the end of sixth grade with my four bro//sis’s & parents in a two bedroom flat. Family moved A bit west when grandpa died & left a bit of cash. Worked from the age of 17 & 1st generation college grad by working FULL time & going to school part time. Financially made sure my kids wouldn’t have to take the same route.
What stung the most this summer was when Media & the Woke ass folks considered me privileged & complicity rascist if I didn’t agree with their thoughts.
Not all people know Soros has always been a master manipulator, even back in the day on Chicago’s trading floors... some things never change.

While I would have preferred that Ald. Michelle Smith came out with a stronger statement that explicitly endorsed Pat O'Brien and would have done so earlier, I am still happy to see that some Chicago dems are breaking away from Toni. The truth is that they know that Kim is likely toast and Toni is not far behind her out the door. Toni Preckwinkle had previously stated that she would not seek another term as Cook County Board President. She changed her tune after Lori trounced her in the Mayoral race because she realized that, because her earlier statement, she was a lame duck without any power. She needed that power to try to get Foxx re-elected. If she fails in that regard, its not only Foxx who has been beaten but Preckwinkle too - not once but now twice. Smart pols like Brendan Reilly and Michelle Smith know that Toni Preckwinkle is not long for this political world and they are started to peel off as they should. Once Toni is gone, this city and county might - just might - have shot at regaining some sanity and turn away from its pro-criminal, hug-a-thug mentality that Preckwinkle has ushered in with her minion Foxx. It can't come soon enough.
That was a good start on Michele Smith's part, but it did not go far enough.
She should have done like the other downtown alderman and come out with a full blown endorsement for O'Brien. It might have caused a little blowback in the politisphere, but in her own ward, I think not given the demographics of her ward.

So I live in the suburbs & am sitting at a City of Chicago polling place. I took my aunt who doesn’t drive to vote. I am SHOCKED to see some Democratic shill standing just outside the barrier helping anyone/everyone going in to vote. Holding dog leashes, watching kids in the park. I am sure he would wash my car if I asked. As I am sitting here, I am listening to him talk to everybody he can. making sure they have all the information they need on which candidate to vote for. He is the friend to everybody & knows a lot of the neighborhood. No wonder this city/county/state votes Democrat all the time. Where is the Republican “friend of Brooks Park”
