Paintball Arrests...and Releases
So a bunch of assholes decided to act like assholes over the past week or two. After a big effort, there were a bunch of arrests:
Six people were arrested Friday in connection with a string of paintball shootings in Little Village and Lawndale.
Seven different paintball attacks were reported from Thursday night to Friday night in the Chicago Police Department’s 10th District, which covers the Lawndale and Little Village neighborhoods. The attacks left seven people injured, including one man who lost his eye, according to Chicago police spokesman [...].
Deputy Chief Ernest Cato said six people were arrested Friday after being found with paintball guns and assorted paraphernalia. Detectives are investigating whether those in custody carried out any of the seven latest shootings, Cato said at a news conference Friday
During the presser, Cato said this:
- “It’s something that has increased, but I want to put the word out there right now: We are focused on this. We’re going to treat these paint guns like they’re regular guns, like they’re shooting real bullets..."
From this point forward, any attempt to read this as anything except an endorsement as a Use of Deadly Force scenario should be enforced in a courtroom in the strongest possible terms. Police (and armed citizens) don't have the luxury of waiting to see if these are real guns shooting real bullets. You shoot at an armed individual and they feel an impact, they should be granted all the protections of Law if they respond with real bullets. Fuck these jagoffs.
And of course, this being Cook County:
- did anyone notice how the brass jumped on the opportunity to have a press conference over those 6-7 offenders that were arrested for shooting paint balls at people. How they posted the weapons on facebook and cheered “We got em!!”
However, 24 hours later , all those cb numbers have been RWOC!!!

Maybe if one of these misguided youngsters took out one of Crimesha,s eyes with their paint gun it might be taken seriously with said youngsters charged accordingly with Aggravated Battery.
With one person losing an eye due to a paintball, this would at least fall under the legal protection for using deadly force to prevent great bodily harm. I'm sure our fine cook county state's attorney would read and apply the law differently if the police are involved, but a regular citizen shouldn't have any problems if they shoot real bullets at one of these paintball shooters. Either the potential for great bodily harm, or the fact that a citizen doesn't know they're not being shot at with a real gun, should justify deadly force. As for the paintball shooters "just funnin" or whatever excuse they want to make... play stupid games, win stupid prizes... like fresh bullet holes. Keep playing.
Those lads were just practicing on the citizens as they were getting ready for the post election riots and and assaults on the police.
They were RWOC as they provided the S/A with an affirmative defense that they are paintball artists protected by their first amendment rights of freedom of speech through artistic expression. Those people who got hit did so by accident while the artists were creating with paint.

Maybe this is the way to stop the killing... let the gang bangers fight it out with paintball guns rather than real ones? Sure some will be lit up by police or a CCL carrying citizen who will undoubtedly mistake a paintball gun for a real one in a dark alley at night, but it would still be better than the alternative. Why no misdemeanor charges for Reckless Conduct if felony charges were not approved? We do not need the State’s Attorney for that.

Without positive I.D.'s the prosecution could not continue. As for the reckless conduct charge, which has the State (P.O.) as the complainant, what did the officer witness? Nothing relative to a reckless conduct. Paintball guns and paintball ammo are not illegal to carry. So, bye-bye. Just one more reason to never, ever, put yourself out there for these ghetto-rat "victims". Stay Safe, Stay Fetal.

A certain Central Control Group Commander let us know in roll call that the city and department will not back us if we are shot/shot at with a paintball gun and use deadly force. Sounds like they are being told that it is not deadly force and therefore we cannot meet it with deadly force. Despite the department releasing a video about the attacks being on the rise and multiple people suffering injuries to their eyes that are so damaging it includes people not just loosing their vision but their physical eye. So sounds like going fetal might not just be in relation to proactive, but how we need to curl up on the street as we get pelted with paintballs.

BEWARE OF FROZEN PAINTBALLS -- Civilians and police officers be aware of what these paintballers plan on doing after the election. BLM/Antifa thugs freeze the paint balls and they become rock hard so when they hit someone it doesn't splat but rather thumps the body. It can be real painful and can easily take out your eye. Be careful officers and wear protective gear. If you arrest one of them, check to see if they are frozen. This is a common tactic used in Portland.

The recent paintball attacks may have been a rouse to set the stage for frozen ones. Establishing a pattern of relatively harmless soft paintball attacks makes shooting into the car they come from seem excessive. A frozen one can knock out a tooth or worse. The recent attacks could also lull some into thinking that is as bad as it gets, then something shinny and much more dangerous pops up out of nowhere.
