Heard some rumblings at City Hall about looking into a no strike clause for CTU. Any truth to this?
CTU is the one that needs a lightfoot up their asses. What a vile trashy union. Only a piece of shit would condone these types of signs. I can’t stand Lightfoot, she can also have a F and U. But I’m sooo sick and tired of these shit government unions destroying this State with their ridiculous pension bullshit. Talked about it all day with family. A neighbor is a retired teacher with a $7,000 net per month pension. That’s insane - for a teacher? That’s why this state is rotting from within and the smart money is exiting at record numbers.

SCC, are you aware of the multiple CTU teachers that are "teaching" remotely, not from their homes and certainly not from schools but from vacation spots? They are in Florida, the Outer Banks of the Carolinas, Tennessee and Las Vegas. Those are just the ones I know of. They are laughing all the way to the bank.

On the subject of CTU, the most powerful Political Force in the "Shitty", here's a great little antidote. Like many other retired and active Chicago Police, we have wives working for Chicago Public Schools. Saturday, nice weather to work in the yard, but my wife said we have to drop a colleague at O'Hare. This Rabid Anti-Trump kid, who grew up in the burbs teaches science at a Northside Chicago Public High School, with my wife. He was going to Florida to spend the next few weeks with his boyfriend. HE IS GOING TO REMOTE TEACH FROM FLORIDA. ANOTHER OF MY WIFE'S COLLEAGUES HAS BEEN REMOTE TEACHING FROM THE OUTER BANKS IN NORTH CAROLINA FOR WEEKS NOW. Meanwhile, CPS students are trapped in their apartments, with if they are lucky, parents who by now have to be rattled. These Radical Twenty-Something teachers are hoping that CTU keeps the schools shut down until Spring, because they both "Hate" Chicago winters, and prefer teaching from more pleasant weather!So I was thinking; since CPD can no longer Chase, or basically Arrest anyone; maybe Cops can start Remote Policing! Bring the idea up to JayCat. Stay Safe. Baby "G"

Well over 100 CTU Teachers are still collecting Unemployment Benefits.Unbelievable!Over 8 Months of not being inside of a school doing their job.The poster who related that they are conducting their E Learning from vacation spots is right on the money.I have 3 CPS Teachers that reside on my block.2 of them are together in Arizona and the other 1 is at her mother,s condo in Naples,Florida and has been for over a month now.
