A new study published in the journal Nature has found that people who are either asymptomatic or undergoing a secondary illness of COVID-19 are simply not infectious, and don’t give the virus to others.
In other words, it appears that the only time people can infect others is when they have the virus for the first time, and only when they are symptomatic. Lock downs and the use of masks by the healthy accomplish nothing. All you need to do is quarantine the symptomatic patient, as human societies have been doing for centuries and centuries.
To once again emphasize this point, wearing masks if you are healthy and not sick protects no one. Social distancing if you are not sick protects no one. Shutting down businesses, such as reducing capacities at restaurants so they can’t make a profit, protects no one. Curfews protect no one.
When you see someone on a hiking trail, it is not necessary to run ten feet off the trail, put a mask on, and bow your head away in fear and terror of that other person. That they are on the trail guarantees they are not sick. They can’t infect you. And that you are there also means you can’t infect them.
Burn the mask. Smile. Live like a human again. And most of all, stop being afraid all the time.

The government won't force you to get the vaccine. That isn't how this place works. What will happen instead is the private entities (e.g. the airlines, resorts, cruise ships, etc.) will deny you their services if you don't have proof of vaccination. Employers may even require it as a condition of employment. Insurance companies may even entice it by offering a discount if you get vaccinated.
Guess what? That's completely within their right to do. See, the great thing about freedom is it applies to everyone and everything. Yes, some airline, resort or cruise company can be unique by not requiring it - but they'd only attract one part of the population.
And then there is still the sticky issue of the virus itself. Would I fly on COVID Airlines just to experience "freedom"?

Illinois has claimed to have tested over 10 million people eqiv. to 80% of the states population FOR THE VIRUS. How many were tested for the antibodies? They were doing all this testing why didn't they test for the antibodies too? How do you determine risk without that data?
Northwestern Univ. did a study that showed over 20% of people they sampled already had the antibodies!
It screws up the fear agenda if 20% of Illinois were already exposed to the virus and had mild to no symptoms and a complete recovery not to mention how it would hurt big pharmas vaccine sales.
What a waste of resources to test 10 million people for the virus and not test for the antibodies at the same time to see if they've already been exposed, no longer at risk.
Lightfoot and Pritzker putting the mom and pop entrepreneurs into poverty. First with the bars and restaurants next with the small apartment building owners by banning evictions and soon to come rent controls. How are they supposed to pay their mortgage?
They increased taxes on ride share drivers with the congestion tax. Then capped the food delivery chargers for doordash, uber eats and grubhub. As much as I love science, I got COVID at work in early March from a cop who had no symptoms until 3 days later.
Masks don't do shit. The only mask that can truly stop transmission of anything is an N95 respirators that is fitted to it's wearer. This is all scare tactics and power compliance fed to you by agenda driven democrat dictators. CPD's brass jumped right on JB's and Larry's communist bandwagon. SMH

OK, this covid is a respiratory virus - like the '18 flu, like that SARS around 2003, like the common cold all the time.
One of the reasons for wearing a mask (and lightweight goggles too, if wanted) is to keep you from touching your mouth, nose, and eyes quite so much. Those are openings for viruses. They also reduce the droplets/aerosol from speech, coughs, etc.
Wear indoors, on buses, trains, in stores when around a lot of people. Silly to wear in fresh air/sunshine when no one's around.
Keeping your distance and washing your hands a lot are also simple common sense.

As a Transplant RN, I would not be getting in line for the vaccine. However, I would not risk my health by not protecting myself from potential Covid carriers. I care for two patients who require lung transplants due to Covid infections. These patients cannot be discharged due to their oxygen demand. Life expectancy is five years after transplant.

So much conflicting science. It's a virus. You can't hide from it, anymore than you can hide from the regular flu. The stats are useless. It's all been politicized. Got mail in voting pushed through, easily corrupted, to get the president out of office. Showed petty tyrants like Groot and Fatso how easily the populace can be conditioned to do anything. Showed the CCP that we are a not very bright people electing a dementia patient to lead the country. Next time they want something, China will send something worse since this 99.9% recoverable virus worked so well. China Joe will do as ordered.
Covid 19 is NOT a scandemic or a plandemic. I am a registered nurse and DO believe in science and research. I definitely DO plan on getting a vaccine. This is NOT the flu! The side effects, deaths and long term lasting neurological and cardiac and pulmonary effects are MUCH worse. Ask any doctor or nurse on the front lines working in Covid units.
Current wisdom is that "restaurants and bars are the lead players in the city's economy."
They used to be peripheral to INDUSTRY. Plants going three shifts making nuts, bolts, hammers, paint...the people who worked there stopped at the diner in the morning for coffee, or put on their good suit and took the family out for a steak in the evening.
Same with "retail." We used to MAKE the things we bought. Now it's just opening boxes from China.

This is FLU season. Last year around this time just like every year before, FLU season began. 40 to 100+ thousand die every year during FLU season. Intensive new research into the FLU has revealed that the FLU is more serious than we suspected but still just the Flu. As always the FLU must run it's course. The usual FLU precautions should be taken.

I'm notba registered nurse and I look at the numbers. The survival rate is over 99%. Do you know what the 3rd leading cause of death in the U.S.? i tested positive.over 60 yoa with underlying heart issues.its for real and scared the shit out of me, but a week plus after testing positive,im typing away at my keyboard.its for real, it sucks, and im going back to work tomorrow per my medical section.i took all precautions,probably lax with the mask, but still got nailed.
