I am not even going to comment on that outrageous statement at the bottom of the page. But I see Big Brother/Big Sister is advising you on “tactical eating”. What is new is old and what is old is new. We had some kind of a health training at the academy around 1980. They were telling you what to eat and when to eat. I believe they even made a training bulletin on it. I think the title was something like, Proper eating habits through shift rotation. The training was telling you what time of day you should eat breakfast, lunch and dinner which would differ from depending if you were on days, afternoons or midnights.
Everyone is different and has different eating habits, and as adults we know what to put into our bodies. These programs are sheer lunacy and a waste of taxpayers money. I am still holding back on commenting because if I do Big Brother or Sister will liquidate me.
And remember officers...talk and posts about Chicago Public school teachers brainwashing their students (and your children) with Communist dogma and anti-police propaganda are all “conspiracy theories”. {snicker} Now get back to work and your mandatory “Consent Decree” indoctrination.

When I went to the bullshit "wellness" training, the presenter of the nutrition portion of the useless training was a black female member of the cook county sheriff's department, I believe. I don't recall seeing that during her presentation, but I wasn't really paying much attention. I did notice she didn't wear a mask at any point though, while we were all threatened with being thrown out if we didn't keep our masks on at all times. But she works for Olive Harvey, so the rules don't apply to her.

no the question was sloppily worded - what I meant was are there any grounds on which to file a beef aside from the fact that I am offended that some radical social justice warrior is writing the slides. It was actually a serious question, and believe me I have honestly considered throwing a tantrum and just refusing to go to the training - but in the long run I would lose that battle. If I was 60 years old and maxed out I would absolutely make a bit of a mess and refuse the training, but I am not.
