"Do Not Call" List Made Public
No idea why this was released, except that Crimesha needs to embarrass this Department and suburban departments for daring to call out her incompetency and making it difficult for her to run again:

County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has released a list of more than 170
names of law enforcement officers on her office’s "Do Not Call" list.
As in, do not call to the witness stand for the prosecution.
All 174 officers seen as problematic for the prosecution because of their backgrounds, Foxx says.
The list is covered in infamous names, more than a few who were (or are currently) in prison. The vast majority of others have sustained Rule 14 violations, resigned under investigation or retired under duress and aren't carrying retirement credentials.
Again, there's not much reason beyond personal animus that this would even have been put out there - we haven't seen one in nearly three decades with the Department, and we're actually surprised it doesn't include dead officers from the 60s, 70s and 80s the way those old CR lists IAD used to put out.
Just remember Crimesha isn't your friend.

I don't see the former 025th District Commander, and all around dumb jagoff, Anthony "Escamerit" Escamilla on that list. He should be, considering he lied to the Inspector General investigators that interviewed him about how he had CAPS Officers and a Sergeant babysitting his son during work hours.
Of course, if he actually got hit with a Rule 14 violation and put on this list, he wouldn't be made Chief Investigator for Cook County Courts. This guy is the epitome of corruption in Illinois. We got some real geniuses in power that keep throwing this cocksucker underserved life lines when it comes to his employment.
In Illinois can’t a trial judge conduct a voir dire hearing to determine the competency of a witness, an expert witness, a juror? How can Foxx make a decision that a judge should?
Release a list of competent, anti crime, prosecutors. It would be short
Of course there are special people who have rule 14s and continue to work the streets full duty. I won't even mention another special group that's "soft stripped" meaning they keep there police powes and work special employment but are assigned to headquarters.

I truly believe we should have a States Attorney s Do Not Call List. A list made up of incompetence, promoted to quickly ASA s who are in charge of our cases that we refuse to work with. ASA s who constantly put our lively hood , reputations at stake, puts society in danger by constantly making deals and or losing. What can they do? Your honor, I respectively decline to participate in this case while this ASA is involved and these are the reasons why. They can’t hold you in contempt because you are not saying you won’t cooperate, Just with someone else.

I feel like ILETSB has this too? I know ISP has some sort of giglio file for their crew. Heard though for the poor Troops, the actual process for a giglio is ridiculously vague, mfrs getting giglio'd for a car crash (not officer fault) and they have to waste time going through the process to get it removed. These are people who would be impeached by a defense attorney in an instant based upon prior transgressions. As a prosecutor, would you put a proven liar on the stand to bolster your case?
The only question is what Foxx hoped to accomplish by publishing the list. The reason stated in the article doesn't make sense. I think she's just trying to disparage the police department in general by pointing to 160-something who are unfit to appear as witnesses for the prosecution - out of how many who are? Big whoop.
The OIG report which disclosed the under-reporting and failure to act on rule 14 violations was a lot more damning.

Crimesha is not saying a word about a certain group of entitled individuals. How about corrupt politicians. Judges and lawyers not paying not paying taxes. Lawyers who have been convicted of tax evasion and served a prison sentences there allowed to still practice law. He's the smartest guy in the room, I mean he must be, he has all of those awards from NOBLE in his office. He was one of the State's "experts" on the SAFETY Act when they were putting that shit show together. And he believes that it's a good thing for law enforcement.

I don’t know about a trailer but there is an abandoned RV left at Belmont and Western parked behind the building that was bought by a now retired detective who never transferred the title over to his name. He also has property up north where he could move it to if he wanted
