Planned Disaster
This is playing into the "progressives" hands - defund and disband:
The small town of Goodhue, Minn., is set to lose its entire police force next Wednesday after ten officers announced their intention to resign over lack of funding.
The entire force tendered their resignations during a city council meeting on Friday following news that police chief Josh Smith had submitted his resignation the previous day.
“This is heartbreaking to us,” the town’s mayor, Ellen Anderson Buck, said following an emergency council meeting held on Monday to address the matter. Smith and one fellow officer will remain on active duty until this coming Wednesday. “Since the resignations have been handed in by our police department, it has been recommended by our city attorney that, at this point, we need to pursue our other options,” the mayor added.
The word "Disaster" in the title might be a bit extreme. This is a town of 1,000 people, the County Sheriff will handle routine crime, and most of the households have at least one gun. We're pretty sure they'll be fine.
But this is indicative of the growing national issue of not having enough cops to fill vacancies. It needs to be addressed at the most basic levels:
- what does society expect in their police force right now;
- what will society shoulder in taxes to reach this goal.
This was all part of the original Obama plan - a national police force beholden to the executive branch.
But if this comes true, we'll have enough seniority to bid to Hawaii.

What happened to the America I was a kid in? Yes we had crime, kid touchers & robbers, shooters & drug dealers but our Police force (notice the word FORCE) kept it to a minimum. Did “Bad guys” get thumped???? Yes they did & then those bad people moved their efforts to other towns where the police didn’t enforce as aggressively. I would go outside & play & come home (maybe) in time for dinner & my mom never worried. Then I had kids & researched GPS chips for kids to know exactly where they were. Of course the officers would train the FNG’s that you only tuned up the criminals not law abiding citizens. Those same citizens BACKED our officers. So what changed? We gave animals & sh$@heads a power base & they whined when they got cracked with a baton after several warnings. We need to find those places again if they exist. Be safe officers there are citizens who STILL back you no matter how unpopular

Governor jelly belly's safe-t act will end up putting several small police departments out of business because of the bwc requirement for all officers statewide. The costs associated with the data maintenance as well as keeping up with the foia requests and legal issues will be to much for some of these small departments to absorb.
The offer to the cops was $22.00 an hour. I don't think Goodhue, MN is going to be getting any new hires. 1 Chief and 1 full time with 6 part timers. Probably not going to have a PD in the future.
There are a lot of MN Counties where the police force for most or all of the county is the (elected) County Sheriff's Department. I lived in Wright County MN, where there is the Wright County Sheriff's Dept., and the county seat, Buffalo MN had a city police force.
The other major cities, (Monticello, St. Michael, Delano, Waverly, Montrose, and more) in Wright County all contract with the sheriff's department for a minimum number of hours of police coverage every day. They are supplemented by the MN State Highway Patrol, which covers the Interstates, US Highways, State Highways, and anything else the HP desires.
One nice thing about Sheriffs? They like to get re-elected, so they don't set up many speed traps and ticket mills.

Obama's national police force? The consent decrees being forced and in Chicago's case willingly accepted upon local police departments by the DOJ are just that. Who really is in charge of policy in Chicago? The DOJ thru the federal courts. Those new elected community police representatives? The joke is on them. They aren't really in charge of anything. The federal court has the final say.
Speaking of Hawaii, the chief of Maui being the former incident commander of Las Vegas is startling when you tie in the allegation of directed energy [lasers] starting the fire due to the agenda 21 map that shows Maui as one of the nature preserve areas devoid of human habitation.

Absolutely true. But some of our citizenry seem to bow their head, drop their voice and become near breathless with reverance when they say his name. Others, when speaking his name aloud, look as if they are going to make the sign of the cross or genuflect in reverance. Barry, the community organizer, is nothing more than a f'n police-hating con-artist who fooled millions.
Where I live now after retirement, the county and state police patrol here. They only come out if and when to clean up the mess after everything has settled. I just don't see a police presence unless they are writing speeding tickets on the main highway.
Immediately after retirement I moved to a town where they had a 2 shift police department. For the 4th of Jully Street festival and parade, they had all 4 part time officers on duty at once.
Things are so much nicer when people can be civilized and live together...

It's not just de-fund and disband the police it's de-fund and disband all small businesses and independent shop and property owners. Centralise wealth using the big box stores where the political friendly campaign contributions come from. You can't have all these mom and pop and family owned real estate organisations, how ya gonna control that.

Anyone know How many Officers have retired and resigned so far this year here?
Things so bad at ISP even after the NEW Troop 3 merger (Dist 5 Joliet and Dist 2 Elgin) forced into Chicago. Now Dist 15 Tollway Troopers being forced in to Chicago Jan 1st. However the Tollway (Dist 15) a private entity is fighting ISP on this forced merger.
When you embrace defund the police idiots and radical progressive minorities who say "white man bad/system racism blah blah" you get what you deserve. Reap what you sow, eat the shit you voted for, and make sure not to call 911. No one cares for your idiocy.

Exactly, all by design, and our own Rahm Emanuel played a part in this when he said “let no crisis go to waste”. It is the leftist’s M.O. to create a problem so they can then institute their solution.
I agree we are at the end times, it may be a good idea to start prepping now, but more important to get your spiritual life in order first. The new world order you mention will be a one world government headed by a political leader, the antichrist, along with a one world religion headed by the false prophet, maybe the pope. They will force everyone to take a mark in order to be able to buy or sell, otherwise those who refuse will be put to death.
