Low / No Bail Still Not Working

Amazing:

  • The man Chicago police say committed five armed robberies in two days in West Ridge was supposed to be on electronic monitoring for a Class X felony gun charge, according to court records. A judge issued an escape warrant for Safaeldin Daheya, 22, when he failed to appear in court last week.

Now, he’s accused of robbing five men during two nighttime waves on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Last Halloween, Daheya was on parole after serving half of a nine-year sentence he received for three felonies, including attempted armed robbery and gun possession. That night, Chicago police allegedly found a loaded handgun in his car during a traffic stop. Judge Susana Ortiz ordered him to pay a $4,500 bail deposit to go home on electronic monitoring on November 1.

Charged with armed habitual criminal, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, he didn’t appear for a scheduled hearing on August 22, according to court records.

CWB is doing the only real reporting on criminals violating parole, skipping bail, committing more felonies.

Had contact with this kid as a juvenile and he was one of the most prolific auto thieves I dealt with in my 30 years in the patrol division. He has since graduated to armed robberies and will eventually kill someone or get killed. Treating these repeat felons with kid gloves is not the answer.

Why wasn't his parole immediately revoked and his butt sent back to prison?

You know? If the judge and states attorney had revoked his parole?
He would have shown up for his August court hearing.
Amazing how that works?

Don’t worry SCC, the ATF’s relentless war on legal gun owners and FFL’s will solve this problem.

This reminds me of a guy I locked up, an habitual Felon that arrest was his 10th UUW pinch convicted 7 times. When the trail was suppose to start the State Attorney out of Skokie court advice me that I couldn't say several of the facts of how the arrest occurred. She told me that it was the judge's orders. So I asked her, are you telling me lie? Then I said, if you want me to do that I'll do it but I will first tell the jury that through you the nudge is asking for this. She got up, walked away 5 minutes later my partner and I were dismissed. I came to the conclusion that they all take bribes from this criminals even the judges. I am positive that this is an unfortunate reality. Just like I would say as a young officer, one rock at a time is another court date. It was about the money, it's just business. I think back and I'm like I should have never locked up an addict for one rock, it didn't change the person.

we had crime licked, just like NYC went from 2,000 to 200 homicides per year thanks to Guiliani and Bratton. Liberals brought it all back.

As a side note to my original post. When this kid took the pinch that got him the 9 years I checked his adult and juvenile rap sheets. A whole bunch of his felony juvenile arrests were gone from his sheet. Heard this was the work of the ccsa's office.

Phew! You should’ve spent less time locking up one baggers and more time taking advantage of tuition reimbursement for continuing education. And supervisors actually approved your reports?!

When you “stop the threat” someone, don’t stick around for police to arrive, leave the scene. CPD dicks do not give a f- and wont be looking for you. Clearance rate is all time high at0.2%

Let me guess you’re still a PO. Shut the fuck up. All your fantasy degrees don’t mean shit.

DId you ever think about this?

Why the fuck would somebody hire a 50 year old with no experience and is used to making 100k a year, when they could hire a 24 year old with the same MBA and has no salary expectations? They wouldn’t, not everybody is DJ Chyna. In the meantime enjoy your spot at HQ that you would of got regardless because of you clout/ball bag buffing abilities.
