Noah! Load the Ark!
The 011th District has had its share of problems over the years. Mold, asbestos, being located on the west side of Chicago. There was a station fire triggered by an electrical panel along with the usual heating/air conditioning issues. It was "targeted" for a rocket attack by Libyan connected gang bangers a long time ago and nowadays, the parking garage is collapsing.
They even flooded a few years back when some pipes broke and guess what happened again?
The flooding has moved out of the locker room and into the Roll Call room. This can't be healthy for any of the Officers and goodness only knows how the Lobby Illegals might be affected.
Maybe it's time for a new station?

Hmmmm.
I think we can jam about 370 migrants down there for the winter.
Sorry kids. You will have to dress out of the trunks of your cars.
call FEMA operators are on duty right now to take your call LOL
FEMA approves more than $200 million in assistance for Cook County flood victims

For those who still need help, the deadline is Oct. 16. They can visit one of the seven disaster recovery centers set up by FEMA.
Apply online or through the FEMA mobile app, or call FEMA's toll-free helpline, 1-800-621-3362.
The water method being used, city government style......
Its the ghost of Lt "JA" (retired thankfully) wreacking his havoc on 011.
That’s nuthin compared to the locker room in 013 back in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s.
I once tied milk crates to my boots using coat hangers to get to my locker because the sewage was so deep.
Crazy shit.
Use to go there about 15 yrs ago for missions. The place was disgusting then. We would meeting in the community room which had a rancid smell, the desk & lockup areas stunk but the smell was different. Not as bad as the projects or the cta subway stations.
Excellent mentioning the illegals. Sparkly new digs will be ready soon as a result. Well for the illegals anyway. Sad our brave are treated so abysmally.
Took pix of illegals out side of 18. Was appalled as I passed that station and several others. All had illegals. I tell people do not visit the station: you’re putting your life and health at risk.
Prayers for our brave CPD.
Call a city of chicago union plumber it’s called the city that works for a reason or does it?
No wonder coppers don't live long after retirement and many get deathly sick the city does not care at all obviously! Plus dealing with the third world diseases bused in daily, funny how kids go to school have to be vaccinated but yet the illegals need none of that! They are putting the C19 shots in people forcing it but illegals don't want that and they do not have to have it! WTF
well, im sure the floor needed a good soaking :)
Just close it down. Brake up 011 into 010, 012 and 015. Why not we closed other Districts and we just don’t have proper manpower. As the city falls further into the abyss the whole place still have to be closed. My guess is that the illegal migrants are putting a strain on the 011 District building infrastructure.
Divide the officers between 10, 12, and 15, then watch the community go nuts.
So where are the migrants going to stay?
They need that living space. The officers can work out of the broken down garage.
I work in 011 and quite frankly, I have gotten use to the smell of mold.
Unacceptable.
Swimming pool for illegal aliens?
Don’t worry, I’m sure that worthless Captin in 011 will fix everything! Just ask him he’s the greatest said everything he does. What does absolutely nothing
With current attrition why a new building? There may be no one to work out of it. If there is maybe use a neighbor’s basement for roll call. Don’t really need a lockup. Set up a kiosk on a favorite corner to take reports. See how easy that was.
The flooding was done on purpose. No more Chicago Crop circles inside 011.
That building was opened in the mid 1970's after a year of delays. There was no drain in the staircase in the parking garage. The separation between floors were not high enough to get a tow truck in to remove disabled squads. A forklift was necessary. There was hot water running in the urinals and a room with no doors or windows. To say there were problems from the onset was an understatement. With approx. 500 officers, youth detectives, gangs (S.O.G.) gun teams, etc. parking was a problem. The neighborhood was not friendly toward the Police either.
My opinion is to tear down that building and build a huge facility with small apartments on the 3rd through 12th floors for the new residents flowing into the city from border states. An indoor multipurpose room that could be used for a gym and meeting facilities for the new residents. remember to have some separate rooms for each gang to meet in so there is no misunderstanding or territory disagreements. Show the remainder of the country what a real sanctuary city should be. Possibly have a gun check room too???
Oh, how about a new parking garage for our new residents to park their stolen vehicles. This could be attached to the first city owned grocery store too. No reason to make our new neighbors go out in the cold or rain to shoplift. It is the humanitarian way to greet our new voters properly.
I worked in the old Town Hall where the basement locker room would flood on occasion. No one cared then, and I guess no one cares now.
You think this is bad?
Give me two terms!
I will show you bad!
Mayor BJ
Maybe your new Police Superintendent can get your district one of those snazzy tents like the illegals get?
Chicago! The city that used to work!
I remember being really itchy as soon as I walked in
History Lesson. Who was awarded with the contract to build the station? Noah Jackson. Who was Noah Jackson? If you guessed Jessie Jackson's half-brother you get an A. What other Police Station did he get the contract for? The 4th District, another shit show.
Hey that’s not water on the floor in the roll call room! That’s a high end wax bought by the city from Vanecko Flooring Co.
I heard all the migrants in 011 were happily swimming. Nothing but pissing and farting in the water could be seen and heard

COPA: Eureka finally photographic evidence of waterboarding at that station!

The day the new 11 was scheduled to opened with the original Mayor Daley. The parking garage was flooded. Milk crates were put into service with boards so the P.O.'s could enter their vehicles.
Have you ever heard of a city project that didn't end up a clusterfu$%? Lowest bidder minority owned and connected contractor. CFD no different. Buildings that are over 100 years old not designed to hold the weight of today's rigs. Solution? A forest of 6x6's in the basement until the floor can be updated, only to have to be redone a few years later because they f'ed it up. Or they can't read blueprints and cut in the worst possible spot to cut knocking a house out for weeks. My favorite is the house that f'ed up the plumbing and every time you flush after sending one down the river, your balls get scalded from the lava hot water.
Nothing new! Connected democrat union contractors strike again. Way, way back, even police HQ at 1121 State was plagued with urine running down the walls from the women's lockup into the Auto theft HQ. Gotta love those city contracts!
