Only part of the video I disagree with this guy is when he’s talking about section-8 and affordable housing. All it does is create slums of one demographic who don’t contribute to the area. It’s the same shit with the Robert Taylor homes, Cabrini green, and all the others. I don’t understand why we pay for people to live a lifetime on government housing at all.
I found the video to be on point. It shows how bad Chicago has been mismanaged. Chicago might have grown more and been a thriving city. Instead it is being destroyed by total mismanagement. The video will be a testament to the decline. When they give tours of a destroyed city they can sell a dvd in the souvenir shop for souvenirs.

Why not do this yuppie stroll on 5th/Cicero or Pulaski/Madison or Chicago/Central or, you get the point. They are talking about the taxes but not talking about the drain in resources. What’s causing the drain? The city has insane revenue. Year after year and just getting more by the minute. But how is spent is the problem. You can’t blow it all on the ghetto and then say pensions are the problem. I’ve seen alleys repaved on the west side every year for 15 years. Yet mine on the northwest side hasn’t been done in 50 years!!
I watched this entire video and it was excellent. You'll only have to suffer a couple minutes of woke 'racial equity' buckshot towards the very beginning, but the rest is completely objective. The guy being interviewed is a free speech defense attorney.
Video is comical. Two out of towners who read a few news articles and ear jockied a few bar conversations, now trying to talk like experts of the Chicago way. The attorney wearing his son's sport jacket might want to be careful with all his hearsay expertise on the Burger King shakedown. Any crap for clicks, I guess.
OT, does anyone have current information on the lawsuit the city lost, regarding the miscalculation of past overtime? They had lost the case, the latest information was a news article in around April or May of this year.

You have 50 Alderthieves in office right now. One just fined $20,000 by his own political body for using office to go after someone who opposes him. Nice move Big Jim Gardiener. Now you’re officially ready for higher state office. That POS should have been forced to resign.
The have even given corruption a nene, “The Chicago Way”. You fools keep pulling the D lever expecting different results. The other fools are those pulling the R lever that continue to live there hoping things will change. Not gonna happen your only real choice is to pack up and move to a Red state. Little guy is a lawyer. They breed corruption. He’s obviously got a bone to pick with alderman. I agree with him that their worthless pieces of garbage. Every single one of them. But Chicago’s corruption and deadly serious civic problems are far deeper than alderman. He should have taken his little walking tour down Madison and Central or 62nd and Racine. He could have also toured the constantly growing section 8 housing with dude moving in all over 016. The last and only inhabitable part of the city left has been ruined. Delusional cops and firemen think “the neighborhood will never change”. All while getting CC’s stolen on a daily basis. All the while having dude creep around without fear breaking into garages and homes all across 016. Chicago’s old school political corruption problem’s are a welcomed treat compared to today’s social justice warrior insanity. Make a video depicting BJ’s racist, victim mentality, socialistic word view. How his personal racist bias attitude is going to be the final nail in the coffin. Take a walking tour past ANY police station in the city and observe the disgusting failure of humanity that has set up permanent shop. A cute little political corruption video was fun nostalgia for us that actually did grow up in this city and we’re once proud to call it home. That pride and enthusiasm has turned into a daily battle to find alternative employment and residency so my kids don’t have to continue growing up in this socialist, violence ridden nightmare.

Richard J. established, like it's written in stone, that the government rules over the populace.
In these parts, it was neccessary and practical, given the tribal rivalries which abound, both within the ity and the county.
Each neighborhood, suburban town, ward, etc., was, and is, a seperate tribe of like minded, including the simple minded, residents.
This diversity shit has not changed that one bit.
What has changed, devolved into, is idiots without a clue as to the difference between practical neccesity and retarded duplicity.
Moderation in all things, even graft, has mutated into an assinine frenzy to 2 year old brats' throwing temper tantrums at the mere suggestion that they behave.
Actual thinking has been devolved way past half assed scheming and is now pathetic flailing of the dummies drowning in a puddle of piss mud of their own making.
Grasping at straws has become clinging to the straw man arguments.
Remember how frantic and absurd things got, amongst the politicals, after Richard J. died?
All those putz politicals scampering, scheming and slickstering for the very power positions they all had no fucking clue how to wield?
A few old school practical enough to see the chaos of ineptitudes most abundant rapidly approaching it's tipping point?
