OT Just heard the Dept is anticipating a class of Sgt’s at the end of this month. Would anyone know if this is true? I do not want to give up the D-unit after our current pay raise for midnights on a watch

Used to be 900-1000 homicides in the 90’s. If the emergency medical treatment and technology isn’t what it is today, the number would be more like 1200- 1500 homicides.

You know damn well you will not turn down the promotion. As a Sergeant you'll work 10x less and make much much more. And if you're somebody you will not be required to work a day of your life on 1st watch. Life is good.

Let’s not forget expanded weather coverage and news concerning animals from shelters that are available for placement, or repackaged stories from the networks about sick children. These fools often refer to police dogs as K-9 Officers as though the dog actually had arrest powers. Way to go Cheryl Burton!
