Honor Guard Fund Raiser
These Officer have won national acclaim for their Drill performances. Now they're doing a fundraiser:
- For the month of November the CPD Honor Guard are growing out their mustaches for a good cause; to raise awareness for men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer. One of our members was unfortunately recently diagnosed. We take our health for granted sometimes and these diseases steal precious time we have from those we love the most if we don’t catch them early enough. If you could pass along the link we’d appreciate it. As always folks please stay safe, keep each other safe and check on each other. Only ceremonies and memorials in 2024 for the Honor Guard, we can’t bear to bury another brother or sister young.
Here's the link for this worthy cause.

The cure for cancer is simple;
• avoid sugar for at least 90 days
• avoid acidic foods
• boil raw peeled lemons in water add salt drink x 3 a day.
• half teaspoon of baking soda in water a day
Cancer cells will literally be gone. Gone. Eradicated.
Or? Roll the dice with chemo and radiation. Big business cancer is.
Choice is yours.
God bless & speedy recovery.
Fraternally,
Know your PSA number and when possible have it checked. The PSA is not absolute, but is an indicator of where you are and where you might want to have further testing. A virus could cause your PSA number to increase causing a false positive. So before you have invasive treatment done have further testing, possibly treat with antibiotics to see if your PSA number returns to a normal level. A friend had his PSA testing number return abnormally high for his age group and after a series of tests confirmed there was cancer in his prostate. He opted to have radioactive seeds implanted in his prostate with further monitoring instead of having surgery to remove the prostate. There are pros and cons to removing the prostate, have a detailed conversation with your doctor concerning what is best for you.
Within five or six years of having the seeds implanted and after diligently monitoring his PSA number, the level of his readings started to climb. Within the last two years of his life he had difficulty walking and was experiencing symptoms of what he thought was acid reflex. He finally went to the doctor/hospital and had a battery of tests done, which confirmed that the cancer had returned and had spread from his prostate to his spine. The cancer was inoperative. He basically never left the hospital except to be admitted to a rehab facility. Prior to his leaving the rehab facility he was experiencing hearing problems. He went home and after further testing it was determined the cancer had spread to his brain. Within a short period of time he succumbed to the cancer.
The point of all this is that guys, unlike women, don’t take their health serious enough until it lands you in bed or in the hospital. That could explain why there are more women walking around then guys as we age and we don’t talk enough about our symptoms with other guys to get an understanding that what is being experienced is normal or not. Also, remember diet. You don’t have to be a health freak, but watch your intake of beverages and food can go a long ways to a healthier you, along with a reasonable amount of weight.
Don’t be afraid to ask your doctor for a battery of blood tests or X-rays or MIRs to give you a base line from which future tests can refer to. The doctor should be able to figure out how to request the tests for you so that you don’t have to pay. We all know someone who died from this cancer or that cancer or from a heart attack and the symptoms were blown off as over exertion or acid reflex etc. You got the medical insurance! Use it! Retire with your health, instead of fighting to keep your health, because you were too stubborn to see a doctor.
Great job SCC for getting the information out! Kudos!
Excellent cause.

Last words from my grandmother as she was dying from cancer "don't play with your health, if something isn't right, get to the dr". She waited too long and I live by that advice.

Good lord. Please follow a little bit of science you moron. No.. this will not just magically kill cancer cells. Yes, cancer cells feast on sugar, however if you have active cancer cells in your body they will still feed off existing cells and get naturally made sugars your body emits and still survive and multiply. Maybe slower but you don’t just kill them. I know you hate big pharma, doctors and think the earth is flat and controlled by only a handful of people who are part of an underground secret society, but as a cancer survivor who has had to undergo ALL of this along with the crap you are throwing out there you don’t know what you’re talking about. Diet is extremely important while fighting cancer to minimize sugars but it’s not to “kill off” the cancer. It’s to not enable the cancer to become supercharged and able to spread at a more rapid rate. You must then have drugs or chemo to actually kill it. Go get your tinfoil hat, yell at a bunch of people about “the jab” and try to convince them the earth really isn’t round. Idiot.
