It's always amazing how democrats and members of democrat administrations always seem to fail upwards. This useless want-to-be-tyrant is just the latest example:
- The former commissioner of the Chicago Dept. of Public Dr. Allison
Arwady will be heading to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) for a director position.
Dr. Arwady will be leading the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. It is focused on violence, suicide, overdose and injury prevention.
Her first day is on Jan. 16, 2024.
“I am honored to join the CDC in tackling some of the most pressing public health issues that face our communities today,” said Dr. Arwady. “During my time leading Chicago’s Department of Public Health, I saw the power of using local data to drive public health action and I look forward to translating this experience to a national scale."
Nothing about using fudged and falsified data to drive a pandemic-plandemic-panic based on political expediency rather than actual science. Another useless member of the deep-state, unelected and unaccountable bureaucracy.

Mayor BJ fired her because Arwady finally determined CPS schools should reopen, contrary to CTU's continued advocacy of WFH schooling and closed schools. Gates probably made Arwady's termination BJ's first priority open arrival at City Hall.
That noted, Arwady was by far better administrator than Lightfoot's Planning Department choice of BLM-wokester Maurice Cox, who was determined to destroy downtown business community with his seriously defective planning agenda. Good riddance to Cox, God lord what his underqualified and inexperienced DEI replacement (and Clayco shill) will advocate hereon. Neither attorney nor city planner, new commissioner's entire resume is DEI/AA appointments.

I don't believe she was being malicious or driven by politics. IMO Johnson treated her like shit by not having the balls to fire her in person. This Mayor is another story. We need to fire him.

Arwady is gone now. Someone should ask JB how his shutting down the schools have impacted the uncontrollable crime waves that have engulfed the local area. Like most democrats, he will not comment on this continued gutting of the city’s black communities. The crime is now getting out to the previously praised ‘safe’ city and suburban neighborhoods. It’s inconvenient for JB and mayor Goofus to admit that their moral bankruptcy has proceeded the mounting financial problems that are snowballing.

I liked her too and am grateful none of my family died from COVID...because more than one of my CPD family was seriously impacted-- including retiree same age as me who died from covid while railing against government requiring vaccinations was overstepping boundaries.
