Time to start thinking of Crimesha's replacement says the media:
Of all the names that might be on the ballot next year running for Cook County state’s attorney, one that will assuredly not be is Kim Foxx.
Yet the political shadow of the outgoing state’s attorney will loom large over the March primary election as potential successors will be measured up against Foxx’s roles as both an unabashed leader in the national progressive prosecution movement and a frequent focus of barbs about Chicago crime.
So far, three candidates have announced campaigns to replace Foxx, though that list might grow throughout the next week as hopefuls must begin turning in petitions to be placed on the ballot.
After years of failing to actually prosecute crime, acting more like a defense attorney, and domesticating at her home in Flossmoor, Crimesha is headed out to greener pastures....maybe a judgeship or something. the candidates currently vying to replace her:
After spending nearly her entire career in and around the courtroom as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and judge, Eileen O’Neill Burke argues her breadth of experience makes her the right fit to oversee an office of more than 1,400.
Clayton Harris III, who is backed by Preckwinkle and the Cook County Democratic Party, argues his management skills from multiple stints across Illinois government and his time in policing policy and in academia make him the best choice.
The race also has attracted one declared Republican, former Chicago alderman and attorney Bob Fioretti, who has described Foxx’s tenure as a “disaster” that turned the office “into a social service agency instead of the prosecuting arm of the people.”
Fioretti is there to make sure O'Neill-Burke doesn't win even though she's probably the most qualified of the three.
More telling is neither O'Neill-Burke nor Harris are seeking any sort of endorsement from the FOP, meaning the demonization of the police is at such a point that anyone cozying up to cops will be painted as the extremist regardless of history.
So expect four more years of getting the shit end of the stick.

An Illinois county is looking to secede from the state and join Missouri, but the Illinois attorney general is pushing back on the plans, stating that any referendum on the issue would have no legal effect.
Jersey County, along with other Republican-leaning counties located in downstate Illinois, has been contemplating whether to break away from Democratic-dominated areas and join Missouri. Located north of St. Louis, Jersey County has a population of 21,500, and the county seat is Jerseyville.

Cantazara and his big mouth didn't help Vallas, so it's best he keeps quiet. Fioretti is running as a Republican. If Oneil Burke can't beat Harris in the democratic primary, then It's up to Fiorreti to beat Harris in the general election. Its a smart move by Fiorreti. Hopefully Burke gets some money in her campaign fund to put up a fight. I remember Harris when he first started as a young ASA in traffic court back in the late 90's. He's a smart genuinely nice guy but the Preckwinkle connection is a huge problem.
Fioretti - the perennial candidate designed to split the vote. The way these people vote in Chicago, the Preckwinkle candidate will get in regardless.

Four more years? This country will continue to collapse into chaos and degeneracy for far longer than four years... with Illinois/Chicago being one of the worst offenders.

We need to elect a State's Attorney that will challenge the legality of body worn cameras and the new use of force policy. Especially on the use of deadly force. Take it to the Supreme Court where the conservatives will be on our side. Body worn cameras and the use of force models are unconstitutional.
Who in their right mind would want J pussy endorsing them anyways at this point. I'd be surprised if 2500 cops total will even vote in this election. 95% of candidates endorsed by Fop lost last time.
Fioretti has always been just a spoiler and any time someone cites their time in “Academia” as a qualification, I look elsewhere.

A white can no longer be elected to a major office in Democrat controlled Illinois cities and counties when running against a minority. The Preckwinkle endorsed leftist is the guaranteed replacement for Kim Fox. Just like BJ took over after Lightfoot. Blacks will vote damn near 100% based on color, and 1/3-1/2 of white voters will vote for the minority as well. Thus, nothing will change, except that things will probably get a whole lot worse.
Watch for for former GOP State house Leader Jim Durkin. Has the name and has the money. Has been collecting signatures.
Polling shows Durkin can win since the suburbs are now experiencing the crime.
How can Fioretti "take" votes away from Burke when they are running in different primaries and Burke is NOT running as the law enforcement candidate. She praises the SAFET Act even more than Harris and she doesnt even want the police endorsement. Fioretti is the only pro-law enforcement candidate on the race.

We should do the research and see who would be the best for fighting crime and then through word of mouth we should pass it along to the department who we should vote for.
