Is This Ironic?
Michael Latt, a film marketing consultant who worked closely with Ryan Coogler and Common on a series of social justice campaigns, was shot and killed at his home on Monday night, the LAPD has confirmed.
Latt, 33, was the founder and CEO of Lead With Love, a social impact marketing agency. In addition to Coogler and Common, he worked with Ava DuVernay, Barry Jenkins, and studios like Warner Bros. and Netflix on events and political initiatives that married art and activism.
According to the LAPD, he was shot in the 900 block of Alandele Avenue around 6 p.m. on Monday. He was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Police arrested Jameelah Elena Michl, 36, who lived in her car. Prosecutors charged her with murder and burglary on Wednesday. She is being held on $3 million bail. Police have not disclosed a motive.
So a "social justice" warrior was killed by someone he advocated for. A homeless woman who, amazingly, still managed to procure and keep a weapon while being homeless, and may have had some history of stalking the deceased.
We think this is ironic. It should be eye-opening to certain circles, but likely won't be.

This was not nearly as hilarious as watching that internet big mouth in Brooklyn get carved up. While he was bleeding out his Maoist girlfriend diddled with her phone.
It was more hilarious when the bitch wouldn't cooperate with the Dics because she didn't want the POC attacker to go to prison.
It was EVEN more hilarious when all his communist pals started a go fund me so they could all take an expensive vacation to "grieve".

I hope after being shot he reflected on his accomplishments. I’m sure he wasn’t interested in helping the Police with who the shooter is. The Police did their job as they always do. They did the best job they could. They cared for the victim. Notified the family in the most dignified way possible. The Police identified evidence, gathered evidence, canvassed neighbors for video and witnesses, Genuinely cared and put their heart into the job trying to solve it to give closure to the friends and family of the deceased. This is just with the police do day in and day out.
L.A. really needs the safety act. If I win lottery I promise to bail out this misunderstood woman. I would reassemble a new dream team of lawyers for her. Only because I believe that is what the victim would want. I would name the dream team in his honor.
Karma is a bitch. How many bleeding hearts have to bleed at the hands of the objects of their pity before they wake up?

Brian Dowling, M/1/18, was apprehended. There is no mention of any assistance, or lack thereof, given by the girlfriend for identifying or apprehending the murderer of Ryan Carson, 32.
