He's Running Already?
"Running again" we should say:
Philanthropist and repeat political candidate Willie Wilson plans to fill gas tanks, grocery carts and Cook County jail inmate commissary accounts on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Wilson, who most recently ran for Chicago mayor, announced that he plans to give 5,000 people $50 gift cards at 21 grocery stores in Chicago and Cook County. The gift cards will be handed out starting at 10 a.m., Saturday at most locations and must be used on that day.
Wilson's day of giving includes providing $50 worth of gasoline on a first-come, first-served basis at 14 gas stations starting at 7 a.m. Saturday.
Wilson also plans to visit Cook County Jail, where he plans to add $20 to the commissary accounts of 520 inmates that can be used to purchase items like toothpaste and other necessities, according to a press release.
Wilson spent millions - literally - this past election cycle and came in a distant fifth place. He probably be better off backing some charismatic candidates and attempting to run things behind the curtain. But it's his money and we might end up with $50 worth of gas if we set our alarm clock early enough.

Wilson’s hart is in the right place. He feels fortunate with the way his life turned out. From poverty to a very wealthy person. He means well and just wants to help out. During COVID he gave first responders free COVID-19 masks and gave money to the union for people in no paid status over the shots. He is also very much into going to church and helping out. I don’t always agree with some of what he is doing, but I won’t always agree with everything everyone does. Mr. Wilson means well and is just trying to do good deeds for everyone!

Wilson would have been a better Mayor than Johnson.
Wilson has NOT been corrupted and can't be bought by the teachers union unlike Johnson and Preckwinkle.
I have to say this about whacky Willie. At least he's a Democrat using his own money to try to buy votes. All the other Democrats buy votes with giveaways using taxpayer money.

His homespun philanthropy is admirable. Most philanthropists donate their monies for sole purpose of garnering awards and fawning attention from non-profits and politicians, as a means to enhance their social status. And those cash donations fund six-figure salaries and generous benefits for the senior administrators of non-profit organizations. Many long-established philanthropic non-profit organizations' greatest "beneficiaries" are their own senior management folks.
Wilson seems intent to directly fund individual people, with direct impact on individual households. Little to no overhead. Little to no white-collar middle-men siphoning monies into payroll charges for well-paid non-profit executives. He's truly "giving back", without trying to maneuver himself into a board-seat at Lyric Opera, or Northwestern.

Willie Wilson would be doing the People so much bigger a favor by slashing the price of his burgers and milkshakes.
Wilson is a good guy using his own money compared to brandon and the billionaire rich trust fund baby governor clown who use our hard earned tax money to give away! How many millions alone has brandon spent on 150+ coppers,vehicles for his valet service composed of cpd coppers that would better be used on the crime filled streets? Why is his detail driving tank style suburbans to cart his ass and his "black wife wife and kids" around? Why not green electric cars they are pushing the lemmings to drive?
I believe that he has good intentions from time to time and he gives freely of himself and his resources unlike many of his peers who are always on the take

Willie Wilson gets a lot more exposure with his giveaways for a lot less money than buying ads or hiring guys like Axelhole. Media coverage comes at no cost to him. That plus tax write offs add up to some very smart thinking. He has considerable business acumen and if u listen closely- he is overall a very smart guy. Who best to be in charge. Willie or Brandumb ? Plus W.W. has a 'touch' for people. Rare combination.
At least he's spending his own money and not throwing away ours. Helped out first-responders rather than the Free Shit Army. Has morals. And a damn sight more successful on his own initiative than Blowfish.

At least Willie is straight to the point about how he intends to get votes, buy them. But he doesn't understand that as a Democrat you don't use your own money, you use taxpayers' money to buy votes.
Willie is a successful man, unlike BJ who was indebted to the city and had to pay all the money he owed before he could become the mayor. Can't make this stuff up.

It's the Democratic machine that doesn't want him. They can't control him.
He is his own man the Democratic Party does not want that they want somebody they can own and control. He would’ve been a good mayor. He was pro police, and he literally detest the criminals. That is the man we needed not a pandering piece of shit or a clueless schoolteacher, who is bought and paid for by the Chicago teachers union one of the most corrupt unions in the country. How do they all keep their jobs when the schools are closing or less students people pulling their kids out but yet they’re still all employed. Underutilize schools are still open with full staffs. What is that about?
