Merry Christmas!
Been a couple of Christmases since we posted this:
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
If you're off, enjoy the blessings of the day.
If you're working, stay alert, especially when responding to calls where the "Merry" isn't quite so Merry. Hopefully, someone sprung for a plate of Christmas cookies for the watch.

Sometimes all it takes is a hello from someone who cares about you to make the holidays better for others who don't have anyone.

Close to 20 civilian employees at 3-11 getting the hammer dropped on them for fraudulent PPP loans and about 40-50 police dispatchers & call takers at OEMC.
For some odd reason nobody on the fire operations side of OEMC played any ghetto games. Wonder why that is. Hahaha.

Many thanks to all of the men and women of CPD and CFD. Please realize that a great majority of the residents love and respect you all. Grateful ,thankful and prayerful for you and your families. I always give a word of thanks and encouragement to any of you that I encounter. I'm sure we can't grasp the sacrifice you all give ,especially on holidays being away from you families. Love you all.
