Where is the one place that every cop goes to (or is supposed to go to) forty hours out of every year?

So at least five times a year, the Inspection Division is going to be able to put eyes on you.
You've been warned:
- The inspectors are assigned/detailed/sent to FFO training and checking bump cards. They got a couple despite everyone being warned via AdMin Fax messages and Roll Call CO Book postings.
This is going to be commonplace all year with the run-up to the DNC.

Inspectors are at FFO training looking for stubble. Meanwhile, the Sgt is not clean shaven, and full beards by instructors. Let's start leading by example. Moreover let's have people with 5 years working inside be up to regulations.
When the DNC madness inevitably gets ugly, CPD should simply stand aside and let the crazy train roll right up in there and have their way inside the venue. That would be the ultimate act of retribution for how the Democrat party has fucked over blue all these years.

Fuck with me harder? Covid ain’t going anywhere and I have a dozen of positive tests as proof should they be necessary when I feel like a week off will do my body, mind and soul some good.
I’ve never abused the medical “just because I could”. But I sure the fuck don’t have an issue with “gettin’ mines” if/when the department goes out of their way to fuck with me. When the scores are totaled, I’ll always be the winner. That I promise.

Why are bump cards so important when the chief of IAD’s niece was caught selling dope in said cheif’s personal car and nothing happened to that cheif?? That’s right Yolanda Talley, everyone knows you’re a ghetto queen. She should be sitting in federal prison. But in Chicago, she’s the fucking #1 boss in IAD. Think about that for a minute. Then tell me how you feel about bump cards.
All this talk about inspectors, your being warned, blah blah blah. Does anyone realize when you get a “demerit” on this job it equals shit. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s like the made up word “spar” or “gig”. It’s a fugazi, it’s fairy dust, it doesn’t exist. So let the inspector feel like a gown man for once in his life and give you a “spar”. In the grand scheme of things, that inspector’s life is meaningless and worthless. They know it. It’s why they took that inspector spot. So when they issue you a spar cuz you decided to wear different uniform pants, watch as the inspector drools out of the corner of his mouth. It’s cuz he’s brain dead. If you collect so many spars you actually get a day off!
In times of low morale within the Dept would you expect anything else from our leadership? Snelling was always a do nothing officer, got people fired for no covid shots and now this. However, we are all adults, you know what the policies are just do it. If you get caught then its YOUR OWN FAULT...don't cry about it. Like SCC says, you've ben warned many times, don't challenge them, just laugh.

Love it. I did the same thing the time I caught the Chinese Virus. Swabbed myself 8 times using different brand tests with different lot numbers. Every time they cancelled my days off for the “peaceful protests” and the like? BOOM! Caught me some Covid. And my symptoms always seemed to linger longer than most peoples for some reason. Mama didn’t raise no fool. I refuse to be treated like a slave and no one will take my time off away from me. So fuck this job and any bosshole who tries to muscle you into compliance. So you all know what to do now. Get you a positive Covid test from somewhere and save it for DNC time.

Same thing, when I got my original bump card years & years ago, I was told that it was valid for the rest of my life. They even wrote that on my actual bump card. Then, suddenly a few years back, that was all null & void? Just funnin I guess.
Anyway, I’ll start caring about that when the inspectors also start caring about hair, and nails, and uniforms, and quite a few other violations that everyone seems to turn a blind eye on.
You’d think with the DNC on deck and what should be an election year full of political turmoil and CPD manpower issues that the Department would have more important concerns.
Mess with me in this manner and it just may be time for me to jump on the medical and schedule a few repairs that have been on my list. I haven’t been on the medical since Covid, and before that, I can’t remember. Just saying

A bunch of five year wonders that screw up half the time. This department has been long gone. Not to mention they are training for this event 9 months before it takes place.
Supposedly we are going to FFO training 3 times. The 3 day and then (2- 2 day refreshers)
Maybe someone else has info on whether our other trainings will be limited?
The inspector was cool with me. He just said the 2 year card is now a 1 year card.
I still don't understand why anyone would protest the DNC.

The new training is like the old training but with new people. They like to tell war stories about the riots and their use of crowd control formations...lol. The only one with over ten years is the Sgt and you can tell.

Pride in this JOB went out the window. Fuck this department. The more they keep fucking with us in every possible way the more I just don’t give a fuck. Fuck you SPAR me. I don’t care. Once the department starts taking care of coppers I’ll dress appropriately. And save me the “you knew the uniform requirement when you applied don’t like it leave”. It’s a shit job but it’s easy. I’m not going anywhere so find something else to bitch about besides a beard or pants that look the same but are a different brand.
