A student was killed and five people injured in a shooting Thursday morning at Perry High School in Iowa, officials said.
The suspected shooter -- a student at the high school -- is also dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Mitch Mortvedt, assistant director of the Iowa Department of Public Safety's Division of Criminal Investigation.
Just odd timing.
We still think cops shouldn't be where they aren't wanted, including schools. And we don't want to hear any complaining when the inevitable happens.
UPDATE: The shooter is listed as "LGBTQ activist" kind of like that Nashville shooter whose entire "manifesto" is still being concealed by the feebs.

Public schools have earned the infamy of doing next to nothing to deny bully students from doing their bully ways, no matter what the bullies motives are.
Old school student solutions, beginning with a sharpened pencil poke to a bully's arm, followed by, should the bully offer any objections, the verbal assurance that next time, it will be an eyeball, tended to solve the bully problem.
Should the bully bring some bully buddies for a next time, well, an eyeballs shish kabob would be appropriate.
Nowadays, the effective, practical solutions are rarely utilized.
And shooting up a bunch of kids, then capping yourself, seems not a solution at all.
Do unto the ones who have been doing unto you, not the ones who have not.
Looking at what a lot of these sick deluded school shooters have done when they start shootings, I think some of them suddenly discover they are not complete soulless monsters. They start shooting, but quickly disengage when they up close and personally that they are hurting and killing real live human beings. Some of them, but not all of them.
It still would be better if they started (and ended) their crime spree with ending their own life.
Some of them are true monsters, like the Uvalde murderer that massacred elementary schoolchildren, and the Sandy Hook shooter who did the same.
BTW. If you do respond to an active shooter call? Be a hero. Do not be a Scot Peterson afraid to confront a Monster like Nicholas Cruz. Do not be the Uvalde PD. Do not be the Orlando PE at the Pulse Nightclub.
Find a partner, and move to the sound of gunfire. Your very presence may stop the killing and cause the shooter to delete himself. Be brave! You will sleep better at night.
Good get the police out of the schools. Just call when you need them. When the calls come in add them to the backlog. The watches don’t have enough bodies. Most of the time there are no cars to send of jobs. Good luck to the schools that want the police.
Another offender, a member of the alphabet mafia, not surprising the delusional people in charge of the Chicago public schools along with many of the parents listen to children children say they don’t not want the police because they are told us in the school system by the teachers at the indoctrination centers. Instead of praising the police who will put their life on the line if the inevitable happens and asking for more police, they wanted to get rid of the police. The delusion is strong. If you’re not wanted, you don’t stay and the bad guys and the crazy children know this how easy it is to do something like this, it’s not the guns. It’s the people that are mentally unstable that are doing this and training the children with thoughts of idiocy.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- On the same day a teenage shooter walked into an Iowa school, killed one student, and wounded five other people, there is a push to remove school resource officers from Chicago public schools.
Discussions about removing police officers from schools go back years, but the decision had been left to individual schools. Now, administrators say Chicago's school board is pushing to take away the choice, and all the officers.
Of the 40 high schools that voted on the question of resource officers during the present school year, 39 voted to keep police officers in their schools. Principals are now pushing back and wondering why the decision isn't going to remain theirs.

If you have two minutes on the job and you know a copper who works off duty at a school, you’d agree they should be pulled out. It’s a do nothing job and a waste of money. Let’s face it, the officers assigned to the schools are useless. The only people who are worried are the school officers who are going to get a reality check and will actually have to do work for a change . Now that it is understood that the school officers are not needed let’s add CAPS to the chopping block.
