Downtown Knife Fight
Imagine paying to visit Chicago, or worse, paying big money to live in downtown Chicago, and this arrives on your doorstep:
- No injuries were reported and no arrests were made after at least
three men armed with large kitchen knives fought on the streets of
downtown Chicago on Sunday evening. A bystander recorded part of the
altercation on their phone. The @ChicagoCritter account quickly shared the footage on social media.
Chicago police first received calls of three men chasing each other with knives northbound on the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue around 6:02 p.m. The men were seen running through the streets, armed with chef’s knives.
Moments later, video showed several men arriving at the intersection of Ohio and Rush. At least three displayed knives and two of them confronted each other in the street. One man thrusts a knife toward the other with a forceful, full-arm swing. However, the other man, with a knife raised overhead, manages to avoid the blade.
And despite all the waving and slashing, no one got cut.
Funnily enough, residents recognized the maniacs:
- A Streeterville resident who spoke with CWBChicago recognized two of the men as residents of the Inn of Chicago migrant shelter, 162 East Ohio, home of more than 1,200 new arrivals.
So the democrat manufactured "crisis" continues unabated.

You have a very unrealistic view of your own people. Hardworking Hispanic people, who contribute to society, raise their children properly, and follow the law, will maybe vote for Trump. You see...the State's Attorney Kim Foxx has decreed that individuals (especially ones of color) that voluntarily engage in a fight (even potentially a deadly one) are "mutual combatants" and cannot be charged with a felony. This is not law but official policy in Cook County (see article below).
We will never forget that Officer Van Dyke got arrested and convicted for engaging with a threatening subject with a knife. Also, everyone in this video are illegal immigrants in our "sanctuary city". So if such laws cannot be enforced any longer what makes you think an officer is going to risk their career confronting such a protected individual with a kitchen knife who clearly doesn't follow the law anyways?

Having a concealed carry permit does not mean you possess a gun, just as having a driver's license doesn't mean you're driving a car. I get your point, but let's not overdo the paranoia, even in these times when formerly paranoid beliefs have turned out to be not so paranoid.

I got approved recently in 51 days without prints. Took another 2 weeks for them to print and ship it. According to ISPs web stat page, without prints averaging 56 days to approval.
Even if you don't own a gun yet and are thinking about it. Get the FOID first and then the CCL. It's going to get worse out there.

I don't know if I can actually dumb it down enough for you to understand, but I'll give it one last try, in the interest of education. I was simply stating that having a license to do something does not mean you are always doing it. That's all. Very simple. Get it? I suspect not. I was responding to the incorrect suggestion that a person just having a concealed carry permit means the person possesses a gun. There is no requirement to own a gun just because you have a license to carry one. There is no requirement to own a car just because you have a driver's license. Let's move away from "permits" and "licenses" to try to make the extremely simple point even more clear for your slow ass. Let's say you reach the age of 21. You are now legally entitled to purchase, possess, and consume alcohol. Does that mean you automatically drink alcohol, or that you have even purchased or possessed it at any time? Nope. Simple, right? Let's move even further away from legal requirements and statuses. Let's say you come into possession of a set of golf clubs or bowling shoes. Are you now a golfer or bowler? Are you actively golfing or bowling just because you possess the items that golfers and bowlers use? I feel all these examples might just confuse you further, so I'll stop now. If you're still lost, find an adult and have them explain my posts to you.

In the interest of not implying to you that your efforts at edumacatings here have not been given the ponderings they so richly deserve:
1. Your initial advice to others, concerning the foid and ccw compliances, that, if followed, places these individuals unique personal identifying informations on a variety of governments' data bases.
2. Whether or not these others ever actually acquire, let alone bear/carry the specified objects, let alone utilize them, is moot to the point that our Constitution defines these objects as not to be infringed upon, period. To keep/possess, and bear/utilize, arms/weapons/tools, shall not be infringed/limited/impeded/controlled, by governments.
3. All of your other comparisons are caca.
4. Just state that those who enforce the laws, however unconstitutional those laws may be or are, will do so. Thus, citizens be aware of this and adjust accordingly.

1. I gave no such advice. I simply explained the very basic concept that having certain identification cards does not automatically mean you own and carry a gun.
2. You seized on that "God-given" right until I pointed out God is never mentioned. Whether one possesses or utilizes a gun is not dependent upon their FOID or CCW status, nor is such status indicative of their propensity to own or carry a gun.
3. Those comparisons were solely to illustrate my very simple point to a very slow person. You still somehow managed to miss it.
