A 5-year-old girl was shot and killed on the Near West Side Sunday morning, police said.
The girl was in a parked vehicle in the 200 block of South Campbell Avenue around 3:30 a.m. when someone fired shots, according to Chicago police.
She was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and pronounced dead.
Has Conehead or the "progressive" caucus scheduled a march or anything yet? Or would that distract from the Illegal Alien Fight Club at Pritzker Park?

I did some Federal Jury duty at 219 S. and the Jury Room looked down on Plymouth Ct.. I can tell you the view down the street was like looking at every Dope Spot at a CHA High Rise. I tell family, friends, and CSO's (retired CPD coppers) that it was like watching the "WIRE" right outside the FUCKING FEDERAL COURT BUILDING! Why aren't the Judges and Agents who serve us, not putting an end to this B.S.? This is so sad for a lifetime chicagoan and retired copper like me. Are we this lost?

Plenty of time my parents were at a family party, where my sister and I conked out around 10 and slept in a guest room 'til they were ready to leave, then they bundled us off into the car and drove home with us. Sounds like that's what was happening here. (Of course, I didn't have the most responsible parents, so maybe my view is twisted.)
