We've been reminded that we used to have "over/under prediction" posts before a long holiday weekend, and we forgot this one.
We can't say that we're "predicting" after the clock has already started - it wouldn't be fair, and we certainly wouldn't want to bet any toothpicks on it. But we'll toss out a number for those interested:

The weather might dampen it down a bit, but we've got all summer to play with.

We’re not working 12 hour days cuz the morons in charge know it’s useless and wasteful. This is not a real police dept. The real CPD of old died years ago. Putting everyone on 12 hour days and canceling everyday off has been proven fruitless and dumb. There’s way too many inside people working those 12 hour days off canceled, inside in front of a computer. These hood rats that are in charge now have figured out at least that much. It is a pointless idea and stupid waste of money.

The cancelled days off won't work this time, LL ran her stupid candidacy from playing "We will go after you for not staying home" to "We will find these bad officers" blah blah made up white supremacy race baiting that blacks use as a focal talking point. Look what happened? Everyone complained "the police" "can't/won't" do anything. Wah wah wah... NOT one GOLD star exempt got hit for this bs driving the department into the ground with the insane OT they forced by cancelling days off. Look what Beijing Brandon did now, he vows not to have any OT, because he hates the police, and he is trying SO SO HARD to give all that money to his new voter base and to his "community" he fucked. Now that you see this, the department will not be able to pull this stunt again for months and years on end. They are realizing that the criminals will do crime regardless if there is/isn't any police presence. Sit back and watch them kill each other.

As of Sunday 2100 HeyJackass shows 6 dead 25 wounded and they consider the holiday weekend ending 0600 Tuesday. We gotta exceed last year otherwise these pieces of shit will crow about how crime is down.
Did conehead bodyguard detail get reduced to 30 to free up police officers to protect citizens of Chicago?

Purely a move to save paying overtime. They know they'll need all that money for their convention. You can close your mouth and get off your knees now.
They used to hold a press conference and ask for tips&clues when a little child got randomly murdered. I guess it's become commonplace enough that they no longer do that. Or maybe everybody was busy with more important things to do.

Clearly a move to avoid paying overtime and to preserve more money for the migrants. Superintendent Snelling or Mayor Johnson don’t give a damn about the troops.
