Man of God Almost Meets God
- A would-be thief fired shots at a priest Monday morning after he
caught two men trying to steal a catalytic converter behind Saint
Ignatius College Prep, and also close to the University of Illinois
Chicago, on the Near West Side.
Police said two men were trying to steal a catalytic converter from a blue Toyota Prius parked outside the Jesuit rectory at Taylor and Morgan streets shortly before 6 a.m., when 74-year-old Fr. Jeremiah Lynch S.J, heard the noises.
Saint Ignatius College Prep Director of Communications Kristyn Hartman – a former CBS 2 reporter – said Fr. Lynch opened the door and peeped his head outside to see what was happening.
"He saw somebody under the car. He heard the noise, and he said, 'Hey, what are you doing?" Hartman said, "and one of them – or both of them, I'm not certain of that – pulled a gun and started shooting; shot three times. 'Bam, bam, bam.'"
The shooter or shooters were aiming for Fr. Lynch, Hartman said. She said the priest suffered some kind of an injury when the shots were fired, but its nature is not clear.
Maybe the good father ought to get a gun? If Jesus beat the crap out of money-lenders, maybe He could make allowances for being shot at.

Catalytic converter meet Catholic converter
Every day every hour, every second, this is happening constantly you risk your life going anywhere and there’s corruption filled city state county. The common denominator is Democrats. They destroy absolutely everything as we clearly see the mayor looks like a deer in the headlights. Wonder what kind of medication he is on? The media does not even bother to look into his 150+ police detail that is costing millions and millions of dollars, because he has a black wife and black kids that is his excuse. A poor excuse extremely poor but then again, when you come out of a system that there is no checks and balances for and now you’re the one that writes all the checks and you’re not accountable for anything ! Wonder if there’s a way to have a class action lawsuit going against the city, the state, the county, the government absolutely everybody in charge that has allowed this to happen? Of course it would go nowhere unless you were a conservative and then you would probably go to jail just like what they did to the greatest president president Donald J Trump . Jesuits were historically the assassins for the Catholic church. Now granted the priest is 74 yoa but I expected at least one killed by a thrown dagger that was hidden in the priest’s clothing. His Jesuit credentials may be pulled!

Here s a slight correction:
Jesus Christ the true king of the Jews, the true Messiah through the worst J “ Money changers”, currency speculators out of the Temple, not just money lenders.
High interest , usury J Shylock money lenders are bad enough, but currency speculators, “ money changers” are much worse. During the Soviet Union from around 1947 until 1990, anyone caught speculating on the Russian Ruble, that crime carried an automatic, swift death penalty and yes this crime of money changing, currency speculating has traditionally been identified with evil Js the worst IMO being George Soros and Soros’s evil,ugly son.
Sensible countries, societies such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Hungary have friends George Soros and Soros’ Open Society Foundation out of their countries. Why haven t we done the same?

Yes, the Jesuits are not to be trifled with, they are the intelligence branch of the Catholic Church.
Is there a modern day Russ Ewing around so that these guys can turn themselves in? Because if the Jesuits catch up with them it will be an ice pick to the base of the skull, or piano wire around the neck.

Well Kristyn, people have killed over a lot less than that. Typical liberal is now shocked when the usual suspects do what comes naturally.
It would appear that it's fair game and open season on the catalytic converter thieves. It's safer to shoot first at them instead of trying to confront them verbally or poking your head out to see what's going on. Just draw ur weapon and shoot at the first armed target. No warnings. If they are willing to kill u over scrap metal, well, I guess they also value the scrap metal more than their own lives too.
The good padre should consult with fr nangle. Whether it’s police myth or not allegedly he was quite adept at dealing with shitbags during ride alongs
