RANT: Some coppers posted about being family and those who went on the medical to avoid the DNC were POS. As of yesterday, roughly 780 officers are on the medical roll(so I was told). 3/4 of those officers have been on it way before DNC, the others got on it just before DNC.
This goes to show you that coppers can’t even organize crime. There’s no longer any camaraderie left in this field. Everyone for themselves, no family, no organization. Those days are long gone!
Officer will NOT hit the medical because they are hungry for the OT (greed), but will complain about working 12hr days and no days off. They will not hit the medical because they don’t want to get dumped off their little tact team/unit/cushy spot (selfish), but will talk tough about not shaving or meeting department demands, only to shave and meet them anyway.
Officers will vent about this administration and the union, but won’t stand in unity against the administration or attend a union meeting. Officers will complain about our government (specifically democrats) but will be the first ones to sign up to kiss ass and be yes-man when the time comes.
So with all of this I say, yes be selfish, take care of yourself and your family because at the end of the day, you’re on your own. There’s very few coppers on this job that will understand my point. For those out there working, be safe and at least try to watch each other’s backs…. Even if it’s from afar.

The video is very impressive and shows how great our officers are. The only question I have is since so many officers were deployed, were there any left in the districts for regular calls of service or was it just a skeleton crew?
