Feds Investigating....democrats?
Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a grand jury on charges connected to a federal probe, sources told The Post — as the defiant mayor claimed he was being persecuted by the federal government for speaking about the city’s migrant crisis.
The historic indictment — the first for a sitting New York City mayor — is expected to be unsealed Thursday by US Attorney Damian Williams, according to the sources. The news was first reported by The New York Times.
Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said.
But other reporting says this is about bribe money from Turkey about a Manhattan consulate building, and the investigation has resulted in numerous other officials - including the police chief - to resign.
Conehead appears safe though, as no nation with an ounce of sense would pay to open a consulate here. They'd be the ones getting envelopes from Chicago attempting to fill the massive vacancies downtown.

I’m no fan of Eric Adams but one could pretty much guarantee that he was going to get the Trump Treatment from Biden’s DOJ as soon as he opened his yap blaming Biden for the crush of illegals invading NYC. Biden, et al, were fine with his kvetching as long as his target was Greg Abbott or Ron DeSantis but when he turned the spotlight on Biden that was a bridge too far. Even Adams wasn’t stupid enough to say that they should close the border; he just wanted Biden to send lots and lots of $$$$ to NYC.

Adams is extremely arrogant and sloppy. He was more concerned about being famous than a good mayor. NY is still a sanctuary city also. He never considered ending that. Any crying he did about illegals is all for show. He gave them lots of money and free housing Fuck him!

You just described the President of the FOP. JCat has filed numerous CR #'s against multiple officers. He has tried to get officers dumped from their units for speaking out against him. He has filed for bankruptcy, had his condo foreclosed on, and defaulted on a loan with the credit union. Yet now he uses member's dues to fly first class all over the world, buy $6,000 steak dinners, pay for parking tickets, build an outdoor kitchen in his new house, buy expensive concert tickets, a $30,000 instillation dinner, and pick up bar tabs at baseball games (just to name a few). Maybe the Feds are there to ask questions about the embezzlement of union dues and fraudulent PPP Loans. Now this same person wants to get his mitts on our pension fund!? No thank you.

Eric Adams was police in NY. This whole thing could have been avoided if he just would have formed a partnership with Hunter Biden or hiding behind in the name of religion seasoned big money-bag -mens like Jesse Jackson or NY's own Al Sharpton. Adams should use the "legal" business model starting a legit money laundering non-profit like Hillary Clinton's (Dem-NY) Clinton Foundation or her questionable Hattian relief fund that didn't help those people of color after a devastating earthquake.
If mayor Eric Adams thought this one through and gave 10% to the "Big Guy", the feds wouldn't be sweating him looking into his receipts and bankroll. He was no police-he is a meritorious democrat appointed con man with an executive title for his resume flaunting his "prosecutorial" creds like a nameless highest office seeking cackling politician without interviews. Remember, without political corruption, democracy dies.
You think Eric Adams would know the criminal statutes after reading his law books for his promotional exams. One would think he would know the law forwards and backwards after assuming an elite rank in such a large department. Or at least have knowledge how to pull off the perfect crime. His law books was collecting dust and it shows. Ultimately, if he would have just spread his wealth to the appropriate in power democrats, this indictment would have never come to fruition if he just took care of the politician.
