Apologies to Blue Island
Looks like he was the actual victim - no charges:
- The investigation of an incident involving an off-duty suburban cop shooting at a car occupied by an off-duty Chicago cop has taken an interesting turn.
As we reported a few days ago, an off-duty Blue Island police officer was taken into custody after he allegedly shot at an off-duty Chicago police officer’s truck during a road rage incident last Saturday evening, according to internal CPD communications provided to CWBChicago.
The Blue Island officer, who has over 20 years of experience with the suburban department, was subsequently released without being charged with wrongdoing.
Initial information indicated the 24-year-old female Chicago officer, who joined CPD last year, was riding in the front seat of a Dodge Sierra that became involved in a minor crash with the 47-year-old Blue Island officer around 5:03 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Union.
So who's gun was boyfriend waving at the suburban cop?
Three guesses....and the first two don't count.

Off topic: a sad thing that an officer committed suicide the other day. I did a quick google search and learned she was a “wellness officer”. The department failed when officers who sign up for others don’t get the help so badly needed.
The department failed when morale Is so bad that no one wants the job, or the want to go the extra mile to do the job.
I didn’t know the officer. I never thought of taking my own life. I have come to hate the job because of bad bosses. Most don’t have basic talking skills. For this reason I just can’t wait to leave the job. I have given up on doing anything more than I have too. In five years I will have 20 years and will leave. Bosses are the biggest problem on this job. Doing police work isn’t the problem, it’s morale.

Goes with the terrible quality that’s being hired, she needs to be fired and she needs to be prosecuted. However, we know the states attorney will not do the job however this is a so-called police officer so maybe she will be prosecuted just another and a string of people that don’t belong on the police department no wonder why nothing is being done. Why no matter what the crime is vast majority you will see the tagline detectives are investigating, which means the case will never be closed for anything. I should say no one will be caught. The case will be closed.

So CPD was quick to rush to charge this Blue Island Cop because he was an outsider. Bad call on the part of our inadequate supervisors and Command staff. If I was this copper I would hire an attorney and make the city pay for publishing my name.
As I said last time, more to the story. This young ghetto trash couldn’t leave the ghetto behind her when she got hired. Not many of them do, often partnering up to be ghetto cops in the hood, playing training day in real life. It’s nothing new. They hide the stories as best as they can but coppers feeding information to gang member boyfriends is common enough that it happens at least a few times a year, that is, it gets caught a few times a year, probably happens every day. Watch your back my friends, especially around the young thotties on the watch.

New CPD officers are on “probation” their first 18 months on the job which is the female officers situation in this case. They have limited contractual protections and there’s less hassle to fire them.
