An off-duty Boston cop fatally shot a lunatic who was trying to stab people at a Chick-fil-A over the weekend, prompting city officials to fall over themselves to offer heartfelt condolences — to the perp’s family.
The officer was in the right place at the right time in Boston’s wealthy Back Bay neighborhood Saturday evening when two people being chased by the knife-wielding man fled into the restaurant fearing for their lives.
The cop identified himself and ordered the suspect to drop his knife. When the armed maniac didn’t comply, the officer shot him. The suspect was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, [...] There were no additional reported injuries.
At a press conference after the incident, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu — who has been repeatedly mocked for a cavalcade of harebrained “woke” schemes during her brief time in office — somberly expressed sorrow over the demise of the would-be stabber.
Wu comes by her lib-tarded stupidity via Chicago - she was born here before moving to Barrington and attending Haaaavard. Even more amusing, her ancestors fled Red China for Taiwan after Chiang Kai-shek lost to Mao, so you think she'd harbor some anger toward commies, but nope, she embraces it.

Every time a politician comes up with this "luv the criminal" bullshit statement, the FOP should put out their own statement condemning the politician and the criminal. Let everyone know just what the criminal did, then end it with: "So, how would you respond in such a situation? You have 1/4 of a second to decide...just like the Cop."

Just another day in a blue-city police department. Let this be a lesson to you young coppers in Boston (and here in Chicago). The citizens and our overlords consider us disposable. Don't be proactive unless it directly threatens you, your coworkers or your family. That goes for on-duty and off-duty. Our politicians, judges and media are not only on the side of the criminal...they are willing accomplices. The good guys lost. The people that like the police moved out of the cities a long time ago. Act accordingly.

There is one bit of proactive conduct that will keep you out of the trickbag. Never forget, if your off-duty, split-second decision is overt police action on your part would be impossible or unwise, call 9-1-1 as you are absenting yourself, your family and others from the situation or ASAP after doing so. A full-out, unreported retreat in front of witnesses can bite you in the ass. Seasoned veterans are well-aware. This advice is for the newer generation.
