So Trump won the election because millions of disenfranchised voters felt they weren’t being heard about illegal immigration (among many things) and this ahole refuses to still hear the voter. Now, full disclosure here. I have known Yolanda Talley since the day she became a Chicago Police Officer. We are both from Academy Class 95 1A. She was in my homeroom. Part
of a very diverse class, but that’s a subplot I will get to shortly.
My review of this sequel is simple. This choice is absolutely going to ruin every bit of
morale and good things the superintendent has done for the majority of the Department,
and so many officers absolutely don’t trust and can’t stand this person who will serve as
second-in-command.
Call it “The Dark Knight Rises” meets “Evil Dead II.” Who is directing this picture that’s
ready to bomb?
As I posted on our Facebook page, it was the superintendent’s choice, which calls into question his
judgment when she was in front of his face the whole time. Why didn’t she get named to that spot a year
ago when he first became the superintendent? Or was he forced to finally give in and do what City Hall
wanted him to do?
If that’s the case, shame on you because you said you were going to run the Department your way. You
should have named your own person and dared the mayor to fire you.
But he didn’t do that, as he pledged he would. So either way, it’s 100 percent on him. Shame on him. It’s
going to be a big hit to his reputation with the members.
I really had no issues with Talley until I became president and she kicked me out of a suicide scene of

Cook county elections are crooked.
I remember years ago an investigative journalist (remember those?) did an investigation into Cook County's voter rolls.
They found 150 year olds were voting regularly.
They found people with addresses at vacant lots and 7-11s.

The department released its “vision 2025” plan. It’s open to the public. Wgn channel 9 has a link in a one on one interview with snelling and it’s also on the CPD website. Couple things that stand out of changes to be implemented in 2025.. staffing.. study will be done to adjust and boost staffing with the current officers we have to help the districts. IE some deck reshuffling is coming. Medical. They are “looking” at non duty related medical usage and how to change policy to stop medical abuse and improve the system. Spending and overtime. All bureaus, districts and units will each be allotted an OT and expenditure amount and that’s their amount.. no more blowing past your ot.. what you’re allocated is what you get with I’m assuming districts to get the most. That amount will be strictly tracked with accountability measures in place to pretty much track every dollar spent and how it is spent for each district, unit and even every person. I’m going to predict massive OT cuts.. and a study that says the schedule needs to be changed to 12hr schedule. The 12 hr schedule will be great for the districts but will also allow more movement to units to beef units back up.
