A petition urging Mayor Brandon Johnson to support an 8 p.m. curfew for unaccompanied minors in the downtown area has gained over 3,000 signatures as of midday Friday. But there are no signs that Johnson plans to change his mind.
Two people, including a tourist, were shot during separate “large group” incidents in Streeterville last month, leading residents and their alderman to call for an earlier curfew. Charges were filed this week in connection with the tourist shooting.
At last count, Conehead was at a 6% approval rating, so he doesn't really give a shit about what voters or concerned citizens might say. He certainly doesn't care what white liberals in Streeterville have to say. It's not like they're going to vote republican or for someone vowing to crackdown on crime.

We will use the petition to light the torches as the villagers march down to city hall to get Brandon out of office. He has done enough damage. How bad does it have to get Chicago? Chicago needs a conservative business leader and a get tough on crime police supeintendant and aggressive prosecutions administrator for at least a decade or two. And the Fourty theives at city hall need to be gone through as well. These are generational problems people (folks) and they require generations of political will to put things right. A city that votes for a mayor based on his (her) skin color or just because he has a "D" by his name is doomed to failure.
Even if these little rabble rousers weren’t coming downtown. The last time I was down there it looked like a mostly abandoned dump. Water tower, mostly empty. Most of the stores in that area are available for lease. Offices are vacant. Our numbnuts socialist mayor is pushing forward with turning LaSalle Street buildings into low income housing. Downtown Chicago as we’ve historically known it is in serious trouble and it’s a damn shame. I blame voter apathy and liberals for the string of politicians that have led us up to this point. I’ll also throw in the media and the unnecessary consent decree.
The city is fucked. Don't do anything if you can avoid it. The apathy from the voter was an intended objective of Rank Choice Voting. Every mayoral election in Chicago since has had a democrat running against a democrat. This is the preferred voting method of communist governments. Voter apathy was the intended result. Chicago will never have any change in any governance. No matter how many people vote. Your choices will always be democrat vs. democrat. There will never be anyone else on that mayoral ballot. And fuck the Republicans for allowing this to happen. Weak ass party in Illinois...

MBJ listens to the voices in his head rather than members of the City Council who want to institute a curfew of 8 pm. While MBJ has no respect for the residents of Chicago or concern for their safety, he is protected by an entourage of body guards.
The citizens are on their own while teens destroy neighborhoods with no consequences.

Has anyone estimated the percentage of the gathered mob the was actually under 18? When the word "teen" doesn't really mean teen, but is just a euphemism for what people aren't allowed to say, then banning people under 18 - real teens of all ethnicities - will have little effect.
Is it possible that the invading mob cleared out at 10 PM not because of the curfew, but because the police were then permitted to arrive and at least do what they're now allowed to do?
Of course, if the police could do what they were allowed to do in previous decades, there would be no invading mob in the first place.
Could Mayor Johnson, in some twisted way, tacitly be approving of the takeovers as an expression of ethnic power?

We don't have rank choice voting. It's non-partisan. Rank choice is where you vote for multiple people for the same position putting them in your preferred order (kinda like the term suggests).
Unfortunately they never seem to actually reap what they sow. They keep doubling down on progressive democrats. No matter how bad things get, they remain completely oblivious, maybe it’s impossible for the to see through the rosey picture the liberal news sources keep painting or perhaps maybe they just like taking it up the ass ?!
