ABC7 Chicago spoke exclusively with Talley about her experience on the force, and what it brings to her leadership role. It's a place Talley never imagined she'd be.
Yeah, we never imagined it either:
- after the dope was found in your personal car
- with your niece and her gang banger boyfriend
- the gang banger who was the "informant" on the "naked woman search warrant" debacle
- and the IAD cover-ups, including the woman-beating witness-threatening detective that was brought to the attention of your office with email proof....and you left him in place, told the victim to bid out, and told her not to mention "hostile workplace"
- have they addressed the "rumor" of your nephew being a shooter?
This part made us laugh out loud:
- She's now second-in-command to top cop Larry Snelling. The office had been vacant for nearly two years.
Um....if some position is vacant for two years and almost no one noticed, is that position even necessary at all? Perhaps it ought to be defunded and shuttered.
Yeah we know it was shadow-filled by that other jackass who spent his time putting all his lackeys, lickspittles, asskissers and suckholes in various positions, but seriously, who'd miss a useless layer of pension draining over-supervision?

Why is it still called the "First" Deputy Superintendent ?
They abolished the rank of "Deputy Superintendent" almost 20 years ago under the COWARD Weis.
It should be now called the "Deputy Superintendent" position.

I lost all respect for the Superintendent and the 1st Deputy. You just can’t fix stupid!
IAD did four covers up I know about. All four were officers I worked with in my 20 year career. They reported supervisors for verifiable incidents and IAD covered it up in each case. I full trust the Officers who this happened to. IAD are nothing but a bunch of thugs with stars. They protect the department from lawsuits and cover crap up.
Just when CPD needs the best they give us her. It’s game over. Morale is running in the negative numbers. We are in the red.
There is a department authorized promotional party for her on Thursday. Look at the names on the ticket committee. Some real doozies and kiss assses.

Each year the department numbers shrink with blue shirts and non supervisory positions accounting for the bulk of the shortage. You know where there have been no cuts? Supervisor's and especially exempt rank, exempt rank positions and numbers have grown tremendously over the last 20 years making the Chicago Police department VERY top heavy.
Yo-Yo is a useless idiot that has done NOTHING in her 30 plus year career. It’s really demoralizing and embarrassing to guys and girls that have actually done this job to see lazy ass hacks like Yo-Yo and so many other bosses go up through the ranks.

Jimmy Johnson was the first deputy under Weiss. Weiss named 3 deputy superintendents , but not a female first deputy superintendent
Barb West was Deputy Superintendent in 2020.

Names?
Her name was Barbara West. Weis got rid of the First Deputy Position and changed it to Deputy Superintendent and West became the first female to be second in command. Y. Talley knows that because she worked under West in Personnel prior to BW getting promoted. As usual, Y. Talley is a fraud.
YT is definitely a clown 🤡 in a costume. She’s started the Recruitment and Retention Program and it seems that the new recruits are coming start off of park benches, crackhouses, her family reunion and swat. Many have been arrested within 6 months after their start date.
Bea Cuello. She wasn't the 1st Deputy under Weis. She was the Assistant Superintendent for Administration, and Jimmy Jackson was the Assistant Superintendent for Operations. Jeane Clark was the first female Deputy Superintendent, but not 1st Deputy.

Jackson respectfully passed away two years ago. Great guy can’t say enough good things about him. Had the pleasure of working for him when he was a Lt. He was a. Great 1st Deputy Superintendent. He went onto being a chief of a Suburban agency.

What's really unfortunate is that none of this surprises us. We've grown accustomed to this behavior from the upper echelon of the CPD and the city of Chicago's leadership.
Be the change was her recruiting moto. Insulting to every veteran officer. The change that is needed is the top brass.

Yes, we remember her. She’s still alive and living in Pilsen. We also remember when Jody Weis was appointed to Superintendent from February 1, 2008 – March 1, 2011 by Mayor Daley. Weis forced her out. We also remember when Weis walked in the door cleaning house. He was about to demote Charles Williams and Hirman Grau, who, along with John Risley, had chosen to retire, rather than face demotions.
Wasn’t a big fan of Weis but he was instrumental in stopping corporation council from settling lawsuits against officers so quickly. He and Charlie Beck walked into the door making changes. Aside from everything else, that’s the advantage of appointing individuals from outside the department to serve as Superintendent.
Your current Superintendent hasn’t made any significant changes. He couldn’t if he wanted to. He owes too many favors and IAD is holding too much over his head. He’s apart of the cover-ups.
Who remembers when Yolanda was in a domestic with her married BF Sgt that worked under her? You know the one that she found in the middle of the night who shot himself down town? Anyone remember his full name?

I remember Sgt Bea Cuello in 008. She responded to a burglary in progress and shot an old drunk trying to get into his own house. She lucky, he was white and she had friends. She also looked marvelous in blue jeans.

You should dump your entire union committee. All of them. They’re the ones that should be bringing attention to her and her corruption. Your union and your Superintendent is ignoring it all. I can’t imagine what goes on behind closed doors.
Your union should be speaking out publicly just like SEIU, ASFME and the other unions do. You guys do a lot of shit talking and bashing Stacey Gates from the CTU, but Gates is all over the news and on the frontline speaking up for her members. She’s like a pitbull. She brings the mayor to the table. Her voice is being heard. What have the Fop and PB&PS unions specifically done about Talley.
More than half of the individuals attending the party, including the ticket committee are devastated that she was appointed. Accept the useless Keisha Frierson who hasn’t worked a day on the street. She made a career out of working in Motor Maintenance and assigning vehicles to bosses and units. Yes, handing out keys to vehicles. Yes, that got her meritoriously promoted to sergeant. Now she’s at the BIA assigning investigations. She couldn’t do an assault report if her life depended on it.

I stopped telling people that I worked for the CPD after her drug bust. I made that mistake down in Miami while doing a challenge coin exchange. I told an officer that I worked for the CPD and he had so many questions about the drug bust.
