- Wait till you hear about the scandal brewing up at 35th involving the most recent merit promotions. It’s all centered around [LR]. She really shit the bed this time. She’s the same clown who drafted that amc message about the $250 fine for ethics training a year back.
Rumors of "lost" merit packages that were found, then lost again along with dozens of Captain applications tossed for spelling and grammar errors.
Have they read their own AdMin Fax messages on a daily basis?

Was at HQ a few weeks ago, and let me say, after not having been there in a while… Holy Ghetto Hell!! It reminded me of a disheveled unorganized outdated office atmosphere…. It used to be clean, well organized, presented well….. Not no mo’! New kind of people running that shit show over there… Sad, bc it used to be a reverent place… nothing but hugs and hand pounds sprinkled with self righteous assholes, now!
Who cares about merit other than the less than 1% of cpd who even gets a chance at merit. Promote one class, just one off the test scores alone. Even better it being the first class of the test. But Larry would never, he couldn’t score high enough on his own
They delayed it again. This is the third delay. Larry desperately wants his merit picks in before funding runs completely dry from the feds. Three delays, no news. Supposed to be in February then mid April, then late April but the department is so messed up right now they still have not completed interviews and merit packets. It’s a disgrace yet it continues because the media does not press the department on their ineptitude in leadership and promotion. Make the first class entirely off score if they can’t get the media figured out. Is there one honest reporter willing to tackle the merit selection process? How many active sergeants didn’t earn their spot, how many lieutenants? Any problem in the department should be traced to merit picks first and foremost. Media is sleeping on an actual Cpd corruption story, the one they always dreamed of

There is zero transparency with hiring and promoting on this job. I wish the DOJ would take a peek behind the curtain and straighten this shit department out.

They misspell something on every admin message. The other day I saw mannikin LOL, for Lemart training. It's mannequin! Smh. Spell check before you publish people.
I had a Lieutenant use a red ink pen on my typed reports……they eventually made her a Commander and then a Chief. She could not find her snub nose on her belt. But, boy could she correct your grammar. That’s what the CPD wants. Micro managers.

A merit promotion is corruption. It’s pension theft pure and simple. All cpd management cares about is extracting as much pension as is legally permissible. New titles and ranks will be created out of thin air to get at it. Merit is what is destroying this department. It’s a cancer.

I was ready to call this one off as BS until I read the line about files disappearing, and then reappearing. That is totaly the city's M.O.
From the Koschman case in the Area 5 scandal under Dean Andrews to files dissappearing in missing persons cases when the SHTF. Paperwork seems to dissappear under CPD custody. If this rumor is true, then there is something wrong with the "meritorious" promotion program in HQ.

Basically they all scored 99.999 or better.
(We won’t talk about how big of handjobs #1, #2 and #3 are)
No merit at all… because you can’t count the one or two that had the test answers (funny how they are sorority sistas with some LIEtenuts that scored really, really, really well! Like perfect!)

WTF ? How fucking dumb is that ?! I’m scheduled to be off, but just to keep my RDO’s I need to prove I have plans. Only the brightest on this department.

Sergeants class delayed..? Somehow, I think we will manage...I served in a unit where we didn't have enough supervisors. The department was more than willing to pay out of grade to cover the manpower shortages. Cha-ching..!

Well there are about 30 people that are qualified as captains and were in the top tier of the last list. They had like 2 or three lists I believe. but because the 30 people are all white doubt that will happen.
But hey they can make captains without a class. I’m sure any of the 30 people minus those that retired in waiting would love to be promoted.
If they need more Sgts on the street please please please take Sgt Baz out of HQ. No one likes him.
According to the union they are making a class of 25 sergeants and 35 detectives in May.
