Not alleged, he is 100% the shooter and is confirmed to be of relation to the first deputy. I have it on good authority that he has been properly identified but fugitive apprehension is refusing to touch it due to fear of retaliation from the first deputy’s office (let’s not forget what happened to the officers who arrested her niece running dope in a vehicle that belonged to the now first deputy). I don’t blame them but this is where we are as a department. Where officers and detectives are afraid to conduct their investigations as they see fit due to concerns about what will happen to them. Nobody in Area Four wants to be the next guy to get stuck with an investigation involving a Talley relative. This travesty needs to be brought to light by the media. Hopefully this helps get it out there at least enough for them to start asking the department the real questions.

They were obviously not going to the parade. Typical prima donnas don't have to do what's right because in the end, they will be taken care of, smh!

She’s being kept around to be the fall guy for the teens chaos downtown. No one wants to do it or be blamed for it.
The Area One/Area Central always had the largest caseload, but we worked together under good bosses and pushed the work out. Every area admired the A/1. We ended up with a lot of the A/4 guys after the change. We were the example. We were the go to area. All of the bullshit came to the A/1 to be cleaned up. I thought I was going to end my career in the unit. I traveled from North to the area each day. After hearing the latest, I’m glad I bailed and moved closer to home.
Her merit picks for sergeant will tell you all you need to know about her. Don’t worry, they’re on their way back to the area.
