We're always a little amazed people like this exist:
In shocking allegations, prosecutors say a man opened fire on a Rogers Park street, firing a gun with each hand, and then tossed both loaded weapons into a nearby minivan where his eight young children were sitting. And, prosecutors say, the kids’ mom tossed a loaded shotgun into the vehicle, too.
Zantarrian Ferguson, 33, and Daphanie Johnson, 32, are each charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and eight counts of child endangerment. Judge James Murphy detained both of them.
Even more amazing:
- The CPD report referred to Johnson as Ferguson’s wife and said all of the children were his. The kids, who all have Ferguson or Johnson as their last names, ranged in age from eight months to 12 years.
We guess the family that attempts to slay together, stays together.
Amazing.

It never actually is.
They graduated from throwing the word fiancé around to just saying “das my wife…” but ironically the marriage rate among the usual suspects is about 1%.

Something’s not right about this. I’ll bet by Monday we’ll have the National Dems in town protesting the fact that Judge Murphy and Cook County are now separating parents from their children. If they were illegal…oops, migrants, there is no way they would have been detained. It’s getting to be obvious why Trump’s popularity is growing among the black community despite what Conehead and Fred Flinstone say.
Probably collecting welfare on each of the kids, mandatory sterilization is needed to stop this felon factory.

About 65 or 70...
Poorest people have the most children per family, almost double on average than the richest families. Why? Government benefits.
He still can’t spell his name. But the ugly fool can sure make babies.
And what leads you to believe he can at this point in time???
For all the Journalists reading-
I always find it remarkable, in a city where (as of the morning of Mothers Day 2025) 15,631 people have been shot in the past five years and politicians so often call for Gun Control, that news coverage of incidents such as this nearly always fail to indicate:
Did Mr. Ferguson or Ms. Johnson have a CCL?
Did they hold FOID cards?
If not, will they be charged accordingly, on top of the other obvious laws broken here?
Where did they purchase the Glock, the shotgun, and the “mini-AK-47”?
-Were documents of purchase filed correctly with the ATF via an Illinois FFL?
If not, will the parties responsible be charged accordingly?
Did the Glock have a magazine holding more than 15 rounds?
If so, will Mr. Ferguson be charged accordingly?
Was the “mini-AK-47” a semi-automatic rifle?
Did it have a magazine holding more than 15 rounds?
If so, will Mr. Ferguson be charged accordingly?
Did the shotgun have a barrel at least 18” long, with an overall length of at least 26”?
Did the shotgun have an extension to its tubular magazine?
If so, will Ms. Ferguson be charged accordingly?
Was this van possibly subject to Impoundment under Article 8-20-070 of the Chicago Municipal Code?
If so, was the vehicle impounded or not? Why?
All of this to say, Illinois generally, & Chicago specifically, already have a quite extensive network of gun control laws. Some may say the most in the USA. Yet their enforcement, or lack thereof, is almost never addressed in coverage of “gun violence” in our fair city.
Why is that?
Why ask for more of that which is already not being used to any effectiveness?
Absolutely we should know who gets any tax payer money. Either employee or public aid.
Welfare for each child and don’t spend anything on them: free food at school, free food at the grocery store, etc. cash for side work, on and on.
Notice the worst and craziest first names, always equals the worst behavior? La losers.
24 is a ghetto like every other neighborhood in Chicago. It just has a bit more retail shops.
