A reputed two-six gang member was wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet for a pending gun case when he gunned down a man in Little Village last weekend, prosecutors said Friday.
Daniel Alvarado, 20, was arrested in March after Chicago police said they saw him crash a car and discard a firearm after shots were fired toward nearby CPD officers. Although Judge Antara Rivera initially granted prosecutors’ request to detain him, Alvarado was released on electronic monitoring on May 16, less than two months later, by Judge Charles Burns.
Since then, court officials say Alvarado violated the terms of his monitoring agreement at least eight times, including on July 5, the night 47-year-old Moises Juarez was shot and killed near 27th Street and Central Park Avenue.
Part of being a democrat is never admitting when your policy goes wrong and costs people money....or their lives.
The other part is voting for the same thing, year after year.

The Democrat politicians only care about getting their bank accounts fatter and control.
In my humble living in the once great state of Illinois, when a judge’s family or politician’s family is harmed or killed as a result of a progressive law or agenda by certain peoples/folks will things change. Obviously the lives of normal people on the chopping block don’t warrant change. Until then, same old same old.

Especially with no candidate of MAGA ever being allowed to get onto any ballot.
With any luck h killed another Democratic voter. One way to purge the voting roles.

Democrats hate law abiding citizens and love violent criminals. That fact is quite apparent. On another note, democrats hate America.
It should read, “Being a Democrat, means you never have to say your sorry….”

Really surprised by this one. Charlie Burns is one of the most pro-police law and order guys in Cook County. SCC is right to lay this at the door of the Governor and the Democrats.

The judges don’t live in those areas and the people that do live there voted for this.
The West side is a hotbed of political corruption and has been for a very long time. The Hispanic politicians like to make money and they work overtime in doing just that. Take a look at the dance clubs in Little Village and you won't have time to count the minors that frequent these places, young women are the favorite of the cowboys.

Not at all surprised by this. My family's lived in Chicago since the 1860s, many different neighborhoods far & wide, comfortably mixed across many layers of immigrant cultures over the past 150+ years who all each eventually assimilated. Used to be police until we saw how things were going 2 generations back. Some opted for other agencies with better leadership.
Currently for both family & work reasons I won't get in to, I live in 010. What a sad sack of a district. Blatant drug stash houses, blatant dealing, rampant child abuse, cases that could be gift wrapped & handed over to DEA, ATF, or - duh - ICE for serious Federal time &/or deportation; obvious gang members literally barricading side streets and stopping traffic every single weekend.
And 90% of patrol pretends none of this is going on, looks the other way. Literally had to honk at gang members blocking entrance to my alley after work Friday night, with a CPD squad parked, lights on, not a half-block west, doing zilch about it. They moved simply because the one local guy from the block in that batch who all otherwise had driven in from Cicero or whatever shit suburb recognized my vehicle & parted the waves.
Then suddenly on occasions when CPD gets shot at, it's more cops than you've seen around here in years, searching for casings, knocking on doors, asking for video, etc. Many of these officers now look like Latin gangbangers themselves - 5'6" with tattooed necks & stupid haircuts. My grandfathers & uncles would be rolling over in their graves. We need an Elliot Ness again.
Can't wait til my responsibilities here end & I can gtfo. Farewell Chicago, you were a great place for working families for more than a century, and could have become so much better in the 21st.
