Federal immigration agents fatally shot a man Friday morning in a Northwest suburb after he allegedly attempted to flee a traffic stop and struck an officer with his car, officials said.
The shooting comes days after President Donald Trump’s long-promised immigration enforcement campaign launched in the Chicago area, generating widespread fear in immigrant communities in the city and suburbs.
[...] During the stop, a man allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to drive his car into officers, dragging one officer, ICE officials said. The officer opened fire and shot the man, according to ICE. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.[...] The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Mexican consulate in Chicago identified the man as 38-year-old Mexican national Silverio Villegas González. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet identified him. ICE said the officer was also taken to a hospital with “severe injuries.” His condition has stabilized, according to the statement.
So....illegal or not? The Mexican consulate is chiming in, so probably not a citizen, so the legality of his presence is suddenly pertinent to the investigation, correct?
And seeing as how he attempted to murder a federal officer with a large metal object on wheels, it becomes an even more pertinent question.

Speaking of shootings, what’s up with the 006 District 2nd watch WOL Lt. Shenetta “know nothin’/do what I told yo ass” Durham who ordered the DSS in front of numerous other personnel to get a CR# (for post abandonment) on a 29 year veteran who’s on limited duty (and who still responded) and who she dumped off the desk and placed on station security over a month ago. The PO who’s ALWAYS been the “Real Police” for his entire career and who is always on time and dons a clean and pressed uniform (that I’ve known him for) responded because a unit was screaming on the air for more cars after they on-viewed two shooters firing a barrage of over 50+ bullets at a male who was subsequently pronounced DOA. If you listen to the audio you can hear rounds going off where this PO and other coppers responded to assist.
Thank God the DSS had the sense to call BIA who told him that if the Lt. really wanted to discipline him just to admonish or counsel the PO but that a CR was not warranted and they would not be initiating a CR.
It is unconscionable that a Lt. of Police doesn’t have the common sense to tell the Sgt. on the watch who ratted the PO out to her to go fuck themselves. Especially when that field Sgt. eventually responds way after everyone showed up and the scene was secure. 006 has some of the worse bossholes in the city.
The Lt. who is habitually and chronically late 1-2 hours nearly EVERY day should not throw stones when she lives in a glass house as well as the Sgt. who is also on BS. Remember today’s technology can help you or fuck you.

My guess is this former illegal alien was registered to vote in Illinois. My guess also is, even if he didn't actually vote, a ballot was created using his legal voter registration and counted in the vote totals. This is how the majority of the fraud occurs. You would think he would have hired a shyster inmigracion attorney to get the process of citizenship moving along in the twenty years he collected U.S.A. taxpayer benefits. Its only about $10,000 for the citizenship process from beginning to end. That costs the illegal alien money and requires compliance to applicable inmigracion laws. To his employer citizenship means he will lose his job if the restaurant has to pay federal and state employment taxes, employment regulatory compliance costs, unemployment security taxes, medicare, social security, etc. Hiring Americans costs money. Funny, I once got chewed out for leaving a post in which an officer called a 10-1 and turned into a police shooting. I told the person yelling at me to do whatever he thought he needed to do to me and I would relish the opportunity to explain myself in a to-from. He walked away and I never heard anything from him again. Some of these bosses are just complete goofs.
