Who would have thought the Christmas season could be so bloody?
At least 13 people have been shot, four fatally, across Chicago since the start of the long holiday weekend Wednesday, police said.
On Wednesday, police said, four men were shot about 12:04 a.m. in the 7000 block of South Halsted Street in Englewood. Police say two men approached the group and opened fire.
One man was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A 27-year-old male was shot in the right leg and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. A 38-year-old man sustained a graze wound to his right arm. A 33-year-old male sustained a gunshot graze wound to his right forearm, police said.
On Thursday, a man was discovered unresponsive about 10 p.m. near the 7400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing. He was shot in the back and right armpit, according to police. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

This has to be a boom for the companies that sell crime scene tape to the City. Pretty soon you are going to need CPD tape trucks with giant spools (just like the Com Edison trucks with giant reels of cables) of different tapes to respond to these scenes, (every Area could have a rapid response tape team available) with not just the "police line, do not cross, but all different colors and messages. Now this time of the year the tapes could have a holiday theme and lift the spirits of those in the area that were affected by the tragic events. The tapes could have advertising messages where commpanies
could pay the City for space. And the politicians could send their messages like, Vote Democrat, without having to pay companies to print campaign flyers.
The violence is starting before the new year starts.
No worries, the illegals will carry on the democratic values and votes.

Slum-Times tries to avoid reporting crime, unless it's white collar crime by some white guy. Then they're all over it. Even after the trial and conviction, they're all over it. Sh*t, even after the offender served his time, they're all over it. The double standard is strong at the Slum-Times.

Last weekend was kind of slow. Now they have restocked ammo from doing several productive burglaries on the north side. They have had time to reload and gots itchy trigger fingers. Don't anyone dare disrespect them.
