They usually get sent out by the second week of December.

Speaking of FOP books, it would be great if retired coppers who still paid into the union would get one. I would love to see when my fake 7b or 13b would start and my fake, damn I gotta go back to work tomorrow” would be. But in all honesty it would be great for retirees to be able to crack open an FOP book for old times sake and pencil in all their vacations, doctors appointments, their remaining 365 furlo days and personal days. Kidding but it would be nice for some.

A post for the gas lighters. Every year the calendar book a big issue like the winter towing post. Retired after 30 plus years. I think i gort the book maybe 5 times before the new year. Couple of times was almost Febuary or Later before I recieved the calendar. Was always the printers fault excuse used. I’M STILL VOTING FOR CAT over any previous thief or thier minions.

the retired do get a fop book if they have that once a year "donation" taken out of their pension check in November ($50)
I've been retired since 2008 and get a FOP book every year. And for those of you who wonder why I would still pay FOP dues, it's because I can see recent retirements, promotions, and obituaries. Unfortunately, I know more of my deceased brothers and sisters than promotions or retirements. Seventeen years in Indiana, and it's like living on another planet.

$50 to the FOP for a calendar book??? I divorced the CPD 30 years ago. I was dropped from the FOP because I made a late "donation" a few years after the divorce. I divorced them too. I now see that I saved $50 for a $6 book. WTF would I wonder when my "furlough" started, Its every day. No need to check holidays, they are every day. Get a grip, check the website for the departed list or have a friend that still lives in the ruins, send you the notices. As for promotions, since it's not you, why should you care. Divorces are final, unless you want to torture yourself. I don't have to be concerned that the leadership is misusing my money for their whims. Legal or Illegal just another reflection of the city.
If you want to stay in the know, SCC is here for your enjoyment. Check the weather, call a friend, get a hobby, volunteer for an organization of your choice, but let this embarrassing outfit out of your mind. Retirement is bliss, be thankful you are not there working for these Fuckheads. This is not dress rehearsal; this is real life. Now go out and enjoy yourself and live longer.

I retired and refused to go...for what?? The bosses dont give a damn about you..they NEVER even came to my retirement cake and coffee and never even wished me a happy retirement...Fuck This Dept!!
