More $$$ Disappearing
The Bears want taxpayers to foot the bill for all sorts of infrastructure improvements around their proposed stadium in Arlington Heights. It's one of the larger stumbling blocks to finalizing the move. Indiana has offered to pay for all sorts of new roads into and out of the Hammond site.
It's a common ask and is usually granted as it's in the city/county/state interest to have paying crowds move in and out efficiently.
In the meantime, Chicago is spending a couple hundred million of unaccounted taxpayer dollars for the Sparklefart Memorial:
Former President Barack Obama once declared that his presidential center would be a "gift" to Chicago, but taxpayers are on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars in hidden costs related to the beleaguered project.
A Fox News Digital investigation shows taxpayers are now stuck footing the bill for surging public infrastructure costs required to support the project — and no government agency can provide an accounting of the total public cost, despite months of queries and FOIA requests.
The "endowment" that was supposed to be funded to the tune of $470 million to protect taxpayers from exactly this is currently funded at....one single million dollars.
We're all for increasing the tax base so as to fund necessary government services in a reasonable and sustainable manner. But driving away a tax and job generator like a major sports team while building a money-sponge of a "library" that isn't an actual repository of archival materials seems counterproductive to say the least.

Turn it into a tourist attraction like Forest Lawn Memorial Parks in Los Angeles Ca.
The way I see the Bears will be in Indiana. The city and state gave away all the money to illegals. City and state are totally mismanaged. They couldn’t even afford to buy back the Chicago Parking Meters. Vote all of them out!

Arlington Heights District 25 schools impose crushing property taxes on the populace. Extreme left/globalist agenda is the curriculum. AH better start thinking long term and improve that infrastructure for the Bears or it’s on track to become a dump like Mount Prospect or Palatine. It’s amazing how democrat voting women and uncontrolled foreign migration destroyed the NW burbs in only about 20 years.
The players, their agents, coaches, management, vendors, the list goes on would all surely like the tax structure in Indiana more better.
One would have tendency to think the visiting teams would feel the same, that is a little deep for the players, but maybe the agents can find some pictures to help them.

A football player for the Dolphins was interviewed a few years ago. He was asked why he chose Miami. He said he had an offer from New York, it would have cost him 2 million in state taxes. He had an offer from L.A. it would cost him 3 million in state taxes. He went to Florida and paid ZERO in state taxes. The teams that just played in the Superbowl just LOST money by playing in California. They had to pay OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET to the state since the State of California took ALL of the money they made from the game itself. Go figure...

Everyone predicted that the library would go way over budget and that the taxpayers would end up paying for it. What the endowment didn't account for was the DOGE shutdown of the billions in stolen money that gets funneled to the democrats through the dark money NGOs. Trump needs to make the DOGE group bigger and with greater power. Imagine the trillions still being stolen.
Dropping 30 dollars in quarters into the money slot would take some time.

It should never have been built in the first place, it vio laws that set aside park space. But the powers that be, crook county judges, allowed it. Also, it’s not a presidential library. If it was there would be federal government oversight. The whole thing is a sham, designed to launder money and put the taxpayers on the hook as Barry high-fives his buddies.
