Rules for Thee....

Wrong message there Chief:

  • We all know how Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns crew advocates relentlessly for gun control for the little people. Yet these same mayors keep getting popped for—you guessed it—illegally possessing guns? Well, hold their beer, because the University of New Hampshire just dropped a sequel. You can’t make this stuff up.

Enter Steven Lee, the 50-year-old Chief of Police at the University of New Hampshire. He recently testified that college students absolutely shouldn’t be trusted with guns on campus. Reason? “They’re too drunk,” he said.  The gun control advocate, using his professional position as Chief of Police — advocating that New Hampshire protect the kids by keeping them disarmed.  Assume they’re constantly intoxicated and irresponsible.

Fast-forward to present day: Chief Lee — badge, gun, and all — was pulled over in Portsmouth at almost 1 a.m.  (Pro-tip for the chief: nothing good happens after midnight.) Chief Steven Lee was (allegedly) hammered enough to earn himself a pair of shiny bracelets and a DUI charge. He’s now on paid administrative leave (because of course it’s paid), has plead not guilty, and a trial set for March.

We'd expect nothing less from a "chief" of a university police force.

Sounds like a fire chief in the suburbs years ago on Christmas Eve morning hit multiple cars in his dept vehicle & was arrested but walked (not that day of course he couldn't walk) he played the game & refused to blow & beat the charge. Then got fired. Just because you have stars, bars, bugles etc. the law should ALWAYS be the law. But one phrase repeated in this blog. Rules for thee but not for me. Funny he was police Sgt. before being the candidate for fire chief???????

What a scam being Chief of Police for a university. Aside from all cops that head Chicago universities, one copper went out to Arizona State to head its campus police department years ago.

If intoxication or alcohol consumption was the marker for allowing people to have guns you literally wouldn’t have a United States Marine Corps. Fuck we’re always drunk.

In Texas a DWI conviction would PERMANENTLY disqualify him from being a cop! It would also disqualify him from working as a Security Guard for FIVE YEARS - AFTER the fine was paid and any jail/probation time was completed.

Sun-times Headline: Illinois files complaint against Gino & Marty's over unpaid wages. Question, why did the City, State, and Cook County not file a lawsuit or administrative hearing for the unpaid wages on overtime, commonly referred to as the VRI lawsuit, where the unpaid overtime wages go back to 2005? I am asking for a friend?
