No hits, no runs, errors to be determined by COPA:
Three people are in custody after police said an attempted traffic stop leads to an exchange of gunfire with Chicago police in the Brighton Park neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Police said 9th District tactical officers attempted to pull over a car, in the in the 4400 block of South Mozart Avenue, with two men and a woman inside around 1:15 a.m.
Police said the group drove off and fired shots at officers multiple times. CPD said officers continue to pursue the vehicle until it crashed in an alley in the 2900 block of West 47th Street.
Police said after the crash, the group ran off and one of the people fired shots at officers and an officer fired shots back.
CPD said no one was injured in the exchange of gunfire.
Summer is around the corner. Stay alert and stay safe.

I’m interested in building a network here and elsewhere (CWB) Chicago Contrarian that will contacted elected officials in metro Chicago or Chicago flight places (Indiana) with short true Chicago crime information that includes. hard hitting images of the brutal Chicago perps (gang tats on their necks etc) and also victims (CPD and innocent civilians such as the recently murdered Loyola student murdered by that psycho illegal alien who is also a TB plague carrier).
I do agree that a good picture is worth a thousand words and I would like to teach other writers and readers here and related places how to put out true anti Chicago crime information in accurate, hard hitting , effective ways.
These would be summaries of SCC and CWB crime stories presented in a 1 to 2 page 8 1/2 by 11 format or the online visual equivalent - not a long book but not just an X (used to Twitter, Instagram) image.
This format works well for those of us who “Write letters to our personal representatives - personal letters not spam)
Is anyone here interested in this project?
I do wish the SCC writers, editors would update their (Wordpress?) Software so readers can attach image files such as .jpg.
God bless and God Help the remaining good but not soft real Chicagoans left behind here in our Chicago City - the City that used to work.

PS I made some business cards featuring the SCC logo (Blue and White Chicago flag with bullets instead of stars) that work well for spreading the SCC message. When you meet someone in a pub, after church and they are lamenting Chicago crime and corrupt Chi politics, you/we can present this SCC business card and let the people know SCC is the best place for true Chicago Crime stories and Chi political corruption.

The county is light years ahead of cpd in terms of training. There’s a reason you don’t see them stepping on their dicks constantly like us. The shitheads know the county ain’t playing games like cpd does.

California Democrats are being ripped over a bill that one state assembly member has dubbed the "Stop Nick Shirley Act," which he argues would "criminalize" investigative journalism.
The controversial bill, officially titled "Privacy for immigration support services providers," creates privacy protections for immigration support service providers, employees and volunteers, including hiding their addresses and imposing penalties on those who publish their image on social media. Democratic lawmakers say the legislation is needed to protect people from targeted political violence.
However, critics, including Republican Assembly member Carl DeMaio, argue the bill would actually work to "silence citizen journalists and shield taxpayer-funded organizations from public scrutiny."
