HANTAVIRUS!!!!!
The Illinois Department of Public Health said Tuesday it is investigating a possible hantavirus case in a resident that is not believed to be connected to a widespread outbreak on a cruise ship that has raised concerns worldwide.
In a statement, IDPH said the individual, a Winnebago County resident, hasn’t traveled internationally or had contact with passengers of the MV Hondius cruise ship.
Health officials said the person may have been exposed to the North American strain of the virus while cleaning a home where rodent droppings were present. The cruise ship outbreak involves the Andes strain of the virus, which is carried by a rodent species not found in the United States. The Andes virus can spread from person to person through close contact - in rare cases.
Oh, this is (likely) the non-transmissible version, not the Andes strain. But that hasn't stopped the usual lunatics on the left from calling for lockdowns, masking, and vaccines (which barely exist).
Be smarter than last time - start lining up your religious objections early.
UPDATE: And get a haircut....the chances of you getting elected mayor and being able to go to your local hair salon like Groot are minimal at best.

Anyone else find the timing for the Department "Resiliency" award odd? For those unaware, they recently announced they're giving out an award to everyone that worked during covid-19.
I’ve seen and read a lot of news lately and so far not one expert has called for any kind of lockdown or masking in Illinois.
It’s all a part of the script but it won’t catch on too many people are hip to the Truman Show now.

Some of us old folks wear masks when the air quality index starts to move up towards Unhealthy. Yeah, we know it doesn’t help with the eyes but it does mitigate the misery from breathing fine particulates if we have a good mask and wear it correctly.

The non-Andes strain isn't spread human-to-human, it's spread when cleaning up mouse turds and pee by sweeping it, or wiping it up.
That causes dried particles to float and become inhaled into the lungs where the virus grows. Occasionally the particles float and attach to the eyes which are nice and moist...
The way to clean that mess up safely is to spray it down with Quat, get it wet and then wipe it up. The usual wear gloves, goggles, etc. applies.

Seems like you’re one of those who believe everything gossiping coppers tell you.
C’mon now. Even the MSM is quoting medical people who are saying that the risk of being felled by this virus is very low. But if you look for extreme examples of people going over the edge about this then you will certainly find them.
