Vigilante Story Falls Apart

Sounds like a bunch of drunk idiots:

• Friday afternoon began with reports of a sexual assault and two stabbing victims at State and Lake.

  By the end of the night, detectives were telling a different story.

  Initial police reports described a sexual assault, a fight, and a woman stabbing two men.

  Hours later, detectives revised the incident, changing the alleged sexual assault to “unwanted contact” and ultimately determining that only one person had actually suffered a laceration.

And the "eye-stabbing"?

• Questions also remain about how the 25-year-old man received his injury, why an alleged eye stabbing was later removed from the narrative, and what evidence led detectives to revise the incident from a reported sexual assault to unwanted contact.

And here we were hoping that there might be a "fighting back" trend developing, but probably not. We guess it will all have to continue getting worse before it gets better.
