She put her new admin Sgt in a terrible position having to clean up Stacy’s mess. That is a large sum of money. No receipts no ledgers. Maybe a good time to start spending your two pensions.

The detective Division is and has been for a very long time, full of merit and unqualified supervisors. I recall the violent crime lieutenant in Area One Homicide used to show up at crime scenes drunk. He was black and the Area Deputy was black so nothing was said. The dicks called him " Captain Morgan". What a joke.

I would say the same about the patrol division. There are just too many of these merit hacks to hide anymore. The twenty percent merit to each promotion class is enough to flood the ranks with double and triple merit promotees that will do Bealzebubs will. They cant even hide it anymore.
The "Ship of Fools" is a daily excursion within CPD brass ranks. It leaves daily on second watch, Mondays thru Fridays. Returns about Noon. They all jump into their take home cars and scurry home.

Starks had her merit picked f/1 detective and then immediately brought her into her office as her secretary right after the detective’s four week training was done. Shortly later, she made her a merit sergeant. She must’ve done some awesome filing work for her to stand out amongst other hard-working detectives in Area 4 SMH. Before this, she did it again with a m/1 detective. Brought him into the office and quickly made him merit sergeant. He also must’ve had some awesome filing skills.
A/1 Detective Commander Watson had a detective for a secretary too, and she’s still the secretary. She’s never worked a single case. I guess having a P.O. wasn’t good enough for her.

I've seen Sgt Egan work. It's always a relief when he shows up at the crime scene. You know everything is going to be handled in an effective professional manner.
