Trespass on Astor Street
A man on pretrial release in a felony retail theft case that he picked up while already on pretrial release for another shoplifting charge disappeared from the Cook County chief judge’s electronic monitoring program for 11 days before authorities found him again — in the back yard of Gov. JB Pritzker’s Gold Coast mansion, court records show.
Those records also indicate that, despite Chief Judge Charles Beach’s public pledge that “major violations” of the court’s electronic monitoring program would be brought before a judge within 24 hours, 10-time convicted felon Dwayne Milton began violating the terms of his release almost immediately upon being outfitted with an ankle monitor, and those violations continued for six consecutive nights before the matter was reported to a judge.
Around 10 p.m. on July 4, Chicago police officers were dispatched to the governor’s residence in the 1400 block of North Astor Street to assist Illinois State Police troopers assigned to Pritzker’s security detail. Troopers had detained Milton, 46, after he allegedly jumped into the governor’s back yard.
A state trooper told CPD officers that they had been monitoring the mansion’s security cameras when they saw Milton attempting to scale over the governor’s rear gate before successfully entering the property. He is charged with misdemeanor trespassing.
Gee, a ten-time-convicted felon - surely he's learned his lesson by now!

Astor street was a nice detail back in the Rush street detail nights.
The only reason this is news is because it was on Prizker's property. This kind of shit goes on daily in other neighborhood where actual working, not prominent, people live and there's nary a peep on the news.

Unless the owner or agent of the property tells them to leave and they do not comply is there probable cause for an arrest. Catch and release, just like Fatso's safety act. They would never see a conviction. If arrested, the offender should sue Fatass and the state police for false arrest. He could pull the race card and get a tidy sum of money here.

Crook County Criminal Courts are full of crap and is a worthless breeding ground of corruptive judicial practices. They are the best judges that money can buy. Do not vote to retain any judicial official.

Here’s a guy with 60 arrests a handful of felonies out on Electric monitoring who finds his way to one of the governor’s several residences climbs the fence and is immediately detected by ISP officers who are monitoring a surveillance camera. Must be nice to have an army of officers protecting your residence while away. What the heck are the rest of us to do when we go to work to make money to pay all our taxes here in Illinois. We don’t have an army of ISP officers guarding our property. This asshole passes the Safety Act, declares Illinois a Sanctuary State and criminals are allowed to roam freely to rape and pillage. There was no need to worry, as JB isn't at that house much if at all. I live in his 'hood. Rare you see any sign of life at that gigantic house. Word is the Prikzkers have mostly been spending their time in Wisconsin, where, for tax purposes, they'll transfer their residency when JB finally quits the governor's office.
