Wyatt Earp Called
He wants his shotgun back:
We're told this gun appeared in 006, whether confiscated or turned-in, we have no idea, but that thing has more years on it than probably everyone currently on the job.

All.That Needs Is A Hack Saw
.Laundry Rope & Duck Tape
And A Long Length Coat
And Your Good To Go! Man!
If You Can Fine Ammo
That’s Jed Clampett’s !!! Jethro must be running around with it.
Beware! That shotgun has been modified to shoot from the hip. The accuracy is gone. Street thugs use that to enforce their power.
The gun that was used to kill William McKinley
Not that old looks like New England firearms single shot so 20+ years old. Just had a rough life on the streets. And no one had a hacksaw handy!!
So if I come up against somebody with this, and I want to deescalate, do I call for a horsewhip?
Nice!!!
Looks like something from Mad Max. I'll bet it works too.
Probably still Illinois legal by length. Now a *REAL* gun guy would lop off that barrel in front of the hand guard and Form 1 it. Oh, wait... Its Illinois, no Form 1s allowed... Um, move to a free state???
No, you must de-escalate, silly goose.
Shot 100s of pheasantsda lot of my old mansucks geese ducks rabbits with a topper just like that. I could get a second shot off in seconds.Ammo? Mine was 3" Chambered, will shoot tiny skeet to 3inch 00 and slugs that will cut a person in half. By the way , A lot of my old man's cop buddies couldn't hit a moving bird for shit.
More like Doc Holiday's shotgun.
I'm not pulling the trigger .
Around 25 years ago in the 012 District, a couple of officers recovered a long gun in Pilsen, thinking it was a shotgun. A couple of other officers saw it, did some research, and realized it was a Ballard Rifle (a breech loading arm manufactured from 1862- 1891). Despite being in rough shape, the officers, thinking it could have some historic value, contacted the Cody Museum ("Buffalo Bill Center of the West") in Wyoming. The Department agreed to release the gun and had it sent to the museum.
Got an old Colt Pocket Positive 32 Police revolver from about 1910.
Judging by the location of the pins in the receiver, that looks like an old H&R Topper to me. They started making them in the 1940s, and there have been a bunch of different iterations. Bubba had some fun with the stock and the trigger guard, and it looks like he did a pretty good job, but I have to question the wisdom of the modifications.
My duty revolver is almost as old.
Known to be carried by "granny" across her lap under her blanket
We finally found the gun used to assassinate JFK! Now if we could only find that pesky gunman on the grassy knoll the case would be solved!
Looks like a Winchester Model 37 with a busted trigger guard. Someone found that in an attic
Looks like an H&R 1908, can't see the release but that's the right stock
Very cool.
You called down the thunder! Tell'm Wyatt Earps coming and he's bring hell with him!
Off topic. Have you seen the videos coming out of Spain? All the third world invaders just walking in. All filthy, uneducated, diseased men storming the shore. It's an invasion. They bring nothing with them except disease, low IQ's and intentions of raping young girls and killing people. It's sickening. The media, every government and every woke person is complicit in this. And idiots wonder why all these diseases that were once eradicated are back.
It's a one shotter. Not an assault rifle. Must have been a tack-tickle team recovery. DId they go home early for the recovery?
Doesn't matter, that's why I a have a 041A tat on my arm.
Dad passed down a couple toppers like that one to me. They still work and are in great condition.
Its definitely an H&R.
They came in 10, 12, and 20 gauge, they were chamber 3”. They also made a junior with a 4” shorter stock for the youngins.
The 10g could kill a Canada Goose at 75 yards with no problem.
They actually put this on the 006th District Facebook page praising the officers for the great recovery.
Adelai Coleman (retired from 004) kept banging the butt of a shotgun on a table at the front desk back in the 90’s to get a shotgun shell out that was jammed. He got it out alright. The proof is in the ceiling. Thank god there’s no upstairs in that place.
Spain fought the Moors once before in the Reconquista and won. This time the Moors are winning. Spain is toast.
A lot of the new cops cant hit a stationary target for shit.
looks like Stumpy's scattergun from Rio Bravo.
Take it down to the Pawn Shop... he's got a guy who can look at it...
Why Johnny Tyler, Madcap…
U go girl
They wanted them. Now they have them.
As recently as mid-1970s, New York Police issued two types of 12 Gage Shotguns: (1) Ithaca M37 Pump; (2) Savage- Stevens M311 Side-by- Side, Double Trigger.
ESU had Ithaca; Detectives/ Plain Clothes the Savage- Stevens.
